I didn't. and when I try to download the mod again, it is a zip file...
It wont work!
It's possible that it has a zip icon because your os got confused or you told it to associate it like that, but as long as the extension is .litemod that's all that matters
I just checked and the mod download IS a .litemod, not zipped or anything, just the one file that you need to put in your /mods folder unmodified
[20:24:36] [Client thread/INFO]: FML has found a non-mod file mod_macros_0.10.12_for_1.7.10.zip in your mods directory. It will now be injected into your classpath. This could severe stability issues, it should be removed if possible.
Yep.., that's definitely a zip file right there.., but how did it become one?
Any chance you have a browser extension or something that zips anything you download?
Assuming the zip is all you have (and you're not just storing the litemod and a zip together in the same folder)...
Check if there's a single. litemod file inside the archive..
if there is, extract it and use that
if there is something else, simply rename the extension to .litemod (again, litemod, not liteloader) and see if it works that way
Ok so I recently installed this mod (or rather re-installed) and I noticed a mod conflict. I'm not sure exactly where it is coming from but OpenEye seems to think it is either in LiteLoader or in Mod Macros and I only need to disable the latter to clear it up.
When Mod Macros is installed the game crashes when I hit the O key on the Options screen. It appears to be a conflict with iChunUtils which adds the menu to the Options screen. I attempted to disable Mod Dismemberment and the issue persists.
The good news is it just prevents me from getting to that screen. However I would like to hopefully see this cleared up.
If you need me to do anything just let me know. I'll try to check back on this thread and forum for troubleshooting steps.

Just as a point of reference I tried the following.
1) Narrowed my installed mod list to Forge (required by iChunUtil), LiteLoader (required by mod_macros), iChunUtil, and mod_macros. I was still able to repro the crash.
2) Changed to using the Mojang supplied launcher instead of MultiMC (which is in the stack trace at OpenEye) and the issue is still reproducable.

It's crashing in a spot where macros scans through the control list and replaces the regular keybinding entries with the custom ones. You should check if ichunutil has any options for disabling any tampering with the keybinding list and it will likely fix the problem. I'll see if I can find out why it's not working as expected, ichunutil is open source so when I get some time I can look through the code to see if I can find any clues. Failing that I can also give pig a poke on IRC as he's around fairly often.
You have run 1.8 and set your render distance too far for 1.7.10 to render, so now when you run 1.7.10 it tries to render stuff too far away. Just reset your render distance before joining a game.

I looked and didn't see anything that would allow me to do it. I'm glad you could make sense of what is going on.
This little script no longer seems to work the way it should in beta 2. What it should do, is turn right 45 degrees, place a torch, and turn back to the original heading. What it does instead, is it turns, then turns back to the original heading, and places a torch. I know I read something about additional properties exposed on some items such as the torch. I'm not sure if this is it or not. Any how, here is the script if someone wants to play with it, or come up with a work-around.
ok so i have an annoying person on my server who keeps making and disbanding his fac so we cant enemy him is there a way so that when it says julian704 creates the faction it types /f enemy julian704?
Hey, just a quick question regarding the GUI features:
The buttons in the "inchat" menu seem to be independent of the config I've got running. By that I mean that whenever I switch configs (or the server does it for me) the buttons in said menu don't seem to change in any way. Am I missing something or has this simply not been implemented yet? I'd like to have server-specific buttons (like /joinfriend on Hive, but /gm c on my server). Other than that, amazing mod!

You could stick some code in onChat along the lines of $${IF(CHATCLEAN = "[Insert faction created message here]");"/f enemy julian704";ENDIF;}$$
Unfortunately, you can't stick that in a text file (it just doesn't work for me)
it probly doesnt work because CHATCLEAN isnt a macro command :/ but thanks for trying
Oops. You need to enclose the command in an ECHO statement.
Here's an example (with it working):
This one triggers when it gets the message: "[Server] hey", and then responds with a "/me well HELLO". You can obviously change these to whatever you want.

This is by design (though i understand the confusion)
The GUI screens are meant in a similar vein as the editable keyboard layout or something
You can still use different ones in different configs though, make more screens and bind them differently
or if that doesn't work use BINDGUI() in an onJoinGame script

Hello again everyone. I am having an issue trying to understand how to store a global flag as a number. Since I have no clue how to make arrays or do anything with them I'm trying to keep it simple.
Well, I've tried for hours but can't do it any way I think of it.
I can not use $$[1] in a variable name. (It MUST be used as it needs to be dynamic in generation and usage. There are no alternatives except writing to an external file which I'm still confused about anyway.)
@#PlayerOff$$[1] = 1 + @#PlayerOff$$[1]
ECHO("%@#PlayerOff$$[1]%") will always produce 0 instead of the incremented value. However, the real value is still stored in the global values it's just not read out to echo.
Can anyone help me please?

If you want a dynamic fourm signature just login to my website @ ZizzyDizzyMC.info
Yes I did a lot of work on these signatures. The map one is private though.

Are you sure those are valid names in the first place?
Last i recall user variables had to be fully lowercase
Did you change the file extension?, the mod itself should be .litemod iirc, NOT .liteloader

I looked and didn't see anything that would allow me to do it. I'm glad you could make sense of what is going on.
I don't know, what do you mean by 'broken'? The mod has used the new names for blocks and items since the last update
Please don't say "does not work", that's just as unhelpful
'Cause tomorrow spring is here
