Finally! I've been refraining myself from complaining about the excessive howling for months now, but I didn't just in case it was never fixed just because it was suggested by me...
Oh no, I'd be happy to make any changes you suggest if they were good.
I would bet that if I had come up with the howling suggestion you would have said that I'm obsessing over a trivial issue again. But now that you say it, I think that the angry wolf sound needs a tweak as well. The other day one of my tamed wolves got angry and it sounded more like a motorbike than like a wolf, it's like the sound track overlapping again and again.
Nah, you were right. Given the overall level of toxicity with which they're delivered, I can't ever take your suggestions seriously.

Optifine is incompatible, along with everything else. FC did a lot of optimisation work fairly recently; so the game runs a lot better than vanilla MC.
If you want fancier texture use MCpatcher.

Its not that my laptop needs optifine or i run at 4 FPS its just my processor its not the fastest but it works i have to use optifine unless im in skyblock and maybe flat land
I've found that BTW makes 1.5.2 run better than what Optifine was capable of doing.
But as has been said, optifine is incompatible with BTW. There is absolutely no way of getting optifine to work with BTW, unless the creator of optifine makes a version that is specifically compatible, like what the creator of CraftGuide did.

Oh, but didn't you hear? Higher numbers means it's better!
The newest release of MineCraft could crash your system and format your hard drive, and there'd still be people whining to have the mod updated to it, as if it somehow matters.
If someone believes they can only play mods for the version of MineCraft they currently have installed, they must have never looked into it at all.
This has actually bothered me enough to look up the cause of this and fix it myself, but I'm mentioning it here to give you something to obsess over in case you ever find yourself with less than full health, 5 hunger, and no food.
You're right in that I had forgotten about this one
It wasn't so much of a bug as it was simply non-intuitive as it was basically an unlabeled state change, but regardless, I changed it up for next release so that you'll only stop healing once you're suffering from the "Peckish" status effect.
I really dislike being the guy to tap the rule sheet (point 2)- but this constant badgering for updates is getting out of hand.
Its never going to update- so stop wasting everyones time by asking. I'm sick of seeing this on every page.

Yup, it's getting tiresome to be sure. I think I'm going to follow your lead here and revert back to "report and move on".

After playing the last release for some 12 or so hours:
From my new world:
Gravel is now a viable early game material for me, since I don't need to mix it with planks or cobble. In fact, far more viable than cobble, since I can mine 150 gravels by the price of 6 cobble.
Abandoned villages = free gravel, so they're worth raiding continuously.
Silverfish sounds make me avoid settling in the border of extreme hills mountains. They become tiring after some time.
On the other hand, taiga is now bearable to settle.
From my old world:
No way I'm hunting Endermen by hand to get the necessary amount of pearls for beacons, so an Enderman farm is now really desirable to build. Before that, I'd rather just grab some Endstone and leave, never building in The End.
Thanks to a skeleton in a ravine, I tried the new item despawning time. It's nice, I know I have until the end of the day to grab my thing or ciao.
Wait... 20 or 10 minutes? I died twice after the update, but in one I got my items after, like, 3 minutes [well-developed world] and in the other I just gave up and found the place I died after, an in-game week?
@Flowerchild: my items despawned, but I still found mystery meat. Is this intended?
I don't know if that was intended, but it's probably because the mystery meat is an actual drop. The items from your inventory are now different from regular dropped items.

What I tend to do is throw shears at endermen. That way when they teleport away and fall over there is a good chance they might poke their eye out
TADA!
Awesome Icy! Will update the OP with the new video immediately
lol
Better to beef up my iron production then! Just in case...
