Maybe set the Chunk Updates to 5 in Video Settings and Performance.
Thanks for trying to help but that didn't seem to work either. I'm wondering if it could be something in my .minecraft folder or with the game in general. I tried both the exe version and the one you install and the problem is still there, my java is up to date and I only have 1 java not multiple.

Unfortunately, Single Player mode is handled by the computer it is running on, not like a server which processes all your data, e.g breaking blocks.
This is why you will get block lag in Single Player mode because your computer is trying to update with biome activities and chunks.
All i could recommend is to set your Graphics to "Fast" or perhaps increase the amount of RAM that Minecraft runs on by using the following JVM: -Xms1024M.
Okay I have no idea what you want me to change. My JVM Arguments currently say: "-Xms1024M -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M" no idea what all that other stuff is, could that be the source of the problem?
At begin, you should change -Xms1024M to -Xms2G. So Minecraft uses 2 Gigabyte of RAM
Alright I've done that but the problem is still there. In my Optifine profile I can't even play Mineplex, I login and everyone is frozen and their skins are the default Steve and Alex and then I'm kicked after a few seconds with the message: java.io.ioException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host . But with my 1.8.1 profile I can play Mineplex, the block lag is gone and everything is dandy.
My optifine profile now says "-Xms2G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M" and my 1.8.1 profile says "-Xms1024M -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M"
UPDATE: I don't know what happened but it fixed itself.
i just need to say i logged on the optifine website went to the cape thing and it said cape not found witch does not make sense to because i donated and got a cape my username is Purple_Guy123 does it have something to do with me changing my minecraft name because before my name was AidenDumas so can you help me. Also this is what it said
I use Forge. I have a folder titled 1.8.1-Optifine_HD_U_C7 in versions, and in the folder, there is an executable jar file titled with the same name as the folder it is in, and a JSON file titled 1.8.1-Optifine_HD_U_C7.json
When I open forge it doesn't have Optifine on it. I need to use an Optifine profile from the Minecraft launcher to use Optifine. What should I put in the mods folder to have it when I launch a Forge profile? Should it be those above files or something else? Am I doing it wrong or should Optifine be present when I launch a Forge profile from the launcher?
Hi I have a problem opening worlds with optifine 1.8 C7. By that I mean when I open my world the starting screen stays. When I delete meta inf then the added options inside of video settings don't appear. BTW I use this with forge
I have been using optifine since it came out practically, but it still doesn't support HD skins. Can this feature be implemented into current builds without another mod?

I would ask who's paying for the server to store all these HD skins?
There are a LOT of Optifine users these days!

Everfree Server - A small & friendly survival build server for older 'Crafters.
Lol i wasn't thinking server usage, I meant support for private use. Similar to resource packs. When i try to use a HD skin it crashes the client.
Oh, seems kind of pointless to me, just for single player. No other players could see it unless it was uploaded to a server (meaning a file hosting server, not a Minecraft server!) like what was done with the Mine Little Pony skin server.
It might be possible if skins could be read from a Minecraft server like resource packs are now. That would require a server mod though, I don't see it happening.

There have been mods that did this..
In 1.6.X there was a mod by DenOfLionsX called HDSAC.
In 1.7.10 there was a mod by RecursiveG called UniSkinMod
There appears to be a 1.8 version..haven't tested, but, maybe I will :).
You can upload your HD skin to any website, as long as it is support, accessible as a straight up JPG/PNG. It will read that skin on load, regardless of whether you are Single Player, Single Player Shared LAN, or Local Server Multiplayer. You have to install that mod on the server-side though for others to see the skins.

Make sure to drop the optifine mod file that you downloaded from optifine.net/downloads into the mods folder. Also make sure that optifine file is for the same minecraft version that your forge installation is for.

Sorry for the long post, I don't know how to add a spoiler.
Optifine works for me on its own and with the shaders mod. Is this perhaps an issue with Forge?
I'm also running on Minecraft Version 1.8 (not 1.8.1)
Thanks for trying to help but that didn't seem to work either. I'm wondering if it could be something in my .minecraft folder or with the game in general. I tried both the exe version and the one you install and the problem is still there, my java is up to date and I only have 1 java not multiple.

"Wake me, when you need me."
Everfree Server - A small & friendly survival build server for older 'Crafters.
Never arbitrary,

I meant 1.8 Don't know why I typed 1.8.1
Thanks man.

Sorry for the long post, I don't know how to add a spoiler.
Optifine works for me on its own and with the shaders mod. Is this perhaps an issue with Forge?
I'm also running on Minecraft Version 1.8 (not 1.8.1)
