It shows " This is not a stable download! We recommend the use of released versions whenever possible.". And then it shows artifact (which I assume are earlier versions). Under artifacts is this link: worldedit-6.0.0-SNAPSHOT.zip, which is not compatible with forge 1.7.10.
The website has no link leading to the download for the correct version.
What I'm trying to say is, I go to the link (The one provided by you) and it has no link to the download. Nothing to click on except the 6.0.0 snapshot in the artifacts.
It only says " This is not a stable download!
We recommend the use of released versions whenever possible."
That's been happening to me to, and as for what the creator asked, there is no crash report, it's not actually crashing. When I click to open any world, it just goes back to the title screen. That's it. =/ So this is probably my problem, it being for 1.6.4... .-.
If one wants to use WorldEdit for Cauldron and wants support for NBT tags found in modded blocks, should I use the Bukkit plugin, the Forge shadow version, or both simultaneously?

Is this happening for anyone else?
You need to get the -shadow link below.
The stable notice is because WorldEdit is also for Bukkit (another modding platform), and normally people are supposed to get those versions from Bukkit's CurseForge site.
But I haven't gotten around to putting WorldEdit on CurseForge for Forge, so for now, you have to get downloads from this site.
The newest ~two versions are for 1.7.10. Every version before the last two are for 1.6.4
1. Some Bukkit plugins may not work with the Forge mod installed. This is because when you install WorldEditBukkit + WorldEditForge, they intermingle and share parts. Some Bukkit plugins don't expect something from Forge.
2. Make sure you use the same version of both. Get the latest versions from the EngineHub builds site.
Hi! So I'm currently hosting a 1.7.10 forge server for my friends and me. I have the shadow version of world edit in the mods folder and but the game will not allow me to execute commands. I'm a complete noob when it comes to world edit but is there a way to fix this? I am already OP'd in my server if that helps
Edit* never mind!! I changed the my op-level to 4 and now everything appears to be working fine!
You need to use http://builds.enginehub.org/job/worldedit-forge/6402 (get the shadow version). The other one is for Bukkit and not for Forge. Ignore the "1.6.4" thing as long as you get a new build.
Over the weekend, I hope to reconcile the fact that the Forge and Bukkit versions use completely ways of compiling the code.
@LateNightGamingClan
Just get the shadow version. The shadow version is essentially the full package.

tl;dr: Use this version for 1.7.10: http://builds.enginehub.org/job/worldedit-forge/6402/download/worldedit-forge-6.0.0-SNAPSHOT-shadow.jar
--------------------
@InsanityShard: Since the site is a bit confusing, since it was primarily for Bukkit mods, use this download:
http://builds.enginehub.org/job/worldedit-forge/6402/download/worldedit-forge-6.0.0-SNAPSHOT-shadow.jar
--------------------
@CommodoreAlpha You need to use both.

You can get the unofficial LiteLoader version (called WorldEditWrapper) and try that.

(which only works upto 1.7.2 ...) So do you have any plans to update anyway?
It's planned.

Not yet.
It does.

Psst!, If I have grammar or spelling errors, correct me. You will help improve my English.
The forge version requires forge to be updated, and then worldedit will update.
