What happens when you combine a 14er; 3 hours; and a strawberry jam? You get this unabalanced joke map! DO NOT TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY; but it is a jam map.
In Forest's Heart your objective is to delve into the forest and destroy its corrupted heart.
In this map, health does not naturally regenerate. Instead you have to catch hearts to regain them. Losing health will give buffs though so it can sometimes pay off to try to survive at a lower health.
Edit: I guess it's not too hard, maybe I'm just bad at video games or something.
Edit 2: Well, I had to re-upload the map because I managed to forget to turn on a singular, critical command block. Whoopsy! If you don't want to re-download the map, you can just run this command instead: "/blockdata 12 56 11 {auto:1b}".
Stone Cold Stare is not a traditional CTM experience. The map is so incredibly ugly that you will take damage if you stop and stare. Keep on the move, collect the wool, and try not to lose your sanity along the way. Good luck.
Difficulty: V.Easy - Easy (or V.Easy - Medium with 'hard Mode' active)
Players: 1 to 4
Structure: Open-World
Objectives: 3 Wool (+Emerald Block[Optional]) (+3 Hidden Music Discs[Optional])
Description:
The Unsighted Sand is a heavily open-world map inspired by the game "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild". Elytra and horses are used to make travel easy, so you don't need to rely on sprinting everywhere. This map uses some of the most recent Minecraft features - limited crafting & new blocks and mobs.
The map is multiplayer compatable with an easy difficulty and plenty of items, though there is also a hard mode option for veterans looking more a little more of a challenge.
The great gods have toiled for eons creating beautiful worlds that strike awe into the creatures they bless to live there in harmony. Well, of course the gods did need to practice their world crafting first, and many worlds and beings have been scrappedrejected along the way. You are one such being, tossed aside by the heavens and forgotten in an abandoned world. Do what you must to escape, to prove to the gods that you are more than just a mistake to be tossed aside.

This is a 3 wool CTM map for 1.11.2, although there are 4 areas to conquer total. A major part of this map are some mechanics I introduce that manipulate the players gamemode. The mechanics are intended to add an interesting additional layer to CTM's normal gameplay. Hopefully that's the case. I would say the map is a moderate-to-hard difficulty, depending on how quickly (or maybe how creatively?) you pick up on the new mechanics.
The current version (1.5.8, posted May 11th) is an overhaul in the balance department of the map. The originally released version had some major design flaws that made half of the map unfairly difficult, and honestly not very fun. I felt the map's mechanics were interesting enough however that it could actually be fun if they were given proper time and care. As such, I've gone over the map and heavily rebalanced large portions of it, as well as giving it some proper playtesting (thanks @BSM!) so that the map might actually be fun to play! That all said, the map is still challenging, but now at the very least it should be a fair challenge. Good luck!
I've kept all the old edits here, but I'm just going to hide them behind this spoiler wall.
Edit: So I just started a full run through of the map and I encountered a bug I thought I fixed already that makes the part of the adventure dungeon where you're in a spherical room divided by a void pit impossible to complete. I've updated the download to a patched version. However, if you downloaded the map before April 11th and don't want to restart the map, you can just run the two commands in the following spoiler. You will need to enable cheats and run them from a command block.
Edit 2: So it turns out when I uploaded that last patch I forgot to toggle the switch that makes it so when you're in spectator mode you can actually go back to survival mode. So, the download has been updated as of April 13th. I also tweaked some things (most notably I added a keepInventory option) to make the map less stupidly difficult at points.
Now, if you don't want to redownload/restart the map AGAIN, then you can just run this one command and and it will fix the spectator bug:
/blockdata -21 7 22 {auto:1b}
Here's to no more critical bugs!
Edit 3: Well, there's no more "critical bugs", but the overall design in some areas (spectator dungeon, I'm looking at you) are... severely lacking. I plan on spending some time soon redesigning a multitude of the areas in the map, and creating something much more polished than what is currently released. I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing, but I'm particularly fond of the mechanical concepts in this map, and I think without a time restraint they could be implemented in a way that is actually enjoyable and worth playing.
Made for Jam 14, Stolen Pixels, and based off the game Metro 2033. As of June 29th, 2017 this map is leaving "early access", and being properly released! Hope you enjoy it!

We don't bite, normally.
I intend to participate in Jam #13 - Eyesore.
(Is this all I need to post along these lines?)
A lot of people don't even bother saying anything until they post their map, so what you've posted is fine.
Now that I've finally broken my streak of failed Jams, I present to you - a once in a lifetime exhibition:
Join me as we have a look into the nature of humanity... through artistic meaning.
...What do you mean I'm pulling your leg?
Please sit down, sir. There's no need for protest. All shall be explained soon enough...

(It's in the OP but here's another link in case you're too lazy)

So, this is something I've never done before.
*Ahem*
Due to the fact that The Unsighted Sand is proving popular, some people think it is too easy, and having spotted a couple of bugs in the map...
Quicksand Hazard:
- Yellow Concrete Powder is quicksand and damages the player when stood on (kinda like magma blocks).
- Added some quicksand to open world portion of the map.
Difficulty Modifiers:
- Difficulty Modifiers are difficulty increasing modifiers that change how the map works.
- Modifiers can be toggled freely on/off from a room accessable at spawn.
- 'Hard Mode' is now a modifier.
- Also gave some special thanks in the modifer's room.
Bug Fixes:
- Changed how the default regeneration effect works. This means it's regen rate is slightly closer to the normal health regen.
- The above also fixes the Golden Apple Juice overriding and clearing the base effect.
- Cursed Mummy mob spawners are primed & no longer spawn the mobs inside walls.
- Due to 'Hard Mode' now being a modifier, it can be toggled on/off.
Thanks to the community for spotting bugs and offering positive feedback!
