Hmm, the only other thing I can think of is making sure Forge 965 is installed correctly. Try starting it without the mods folder. Make sure you have enough ram for the pack. I use 2G but 1G should be good. Other than that I am not sure. Haven't heard from any one else yet having issues. Let me know if you get it worked out.
Actually I tried it using forge 935 for minecraft 1.6.4. It would launch, though without any of the mods installed. Because even WITHOUT ANY of the mods installed it wouldn't launch minecraft in 937 or later. But once I added the mods even in that previous version it wouldn't launch minecraft. And yes everything else is fine. If you want, I can post the log of everything that happened. ALSO, I guess I should tell you this, I'm using MultiMC. Although I didn't mention it because I tried it without MultiMC using forge 935 and it STILL didn't launch like in MultiMC, and also using multiMC shouldn't cause any problems since each instance works just like it's own .minecraft folder.

The only thing I can see by what you have said is there is a problem with the way forge is being installed. Are you using the Forge installer? I know nothing of MultiMC or how it works, never used it.
By the statement above I would have to assume that the "later" is refering to Forge 965. The problem your having would not be caused by any of the files I have provided.

DUDE, I said I tried it WITHOUT MultiMC, and it still wouldn't launch, so it isn't an issue with MultiMC (just as a I thought). So yes I am using the forge installer. I guess I said so much in that post you accidentally skipped some of what I said >_<.
Again, if you'd like, I can post a log of what happened.
Edit: Well... I was using Java 8, that would explain it (noteworthy this is the second time I've had trouble shooting issues with something and I thought everything was fine when in fact I was mistaken). The reason was is I checked previously what version of java I was using and it said java 7. But the reason looking back it said so is I had both java 7 32 bit and java 8 64 bit, and the reason I updated is so I could use more ram. Although when I updated i thought it stuck with java 7 but now 64 bit. And I didn't want to uninstall the 32 bit version since java says I was using the 32 bit version of google chrome and of course I'd need the 32 bit version for java to work. But it's all sorted now. Man, am I ashamed of myself.

Thanks for that update. I have seen that issue my self :D. I hope you have fun playing the map. Any ideas or thoughts appreciated.
It was brought to my attention that the sounds were not working properly. I think that has been remedied. The mods file and map file have been updated. Sorry for the trouble.
Can you put some rules in a readme or in the forum post, or even in a "starting room" in the map? That'd be nice. Also I got to the wheat farm, got the seeds and wheat from the chest, accepted the quest to get 64 wheat, and got the wheat that was already planted, replanted using all the seeds i had, had minecraft run for a while while i was watching a video, came back, and I had a ton of wheat. so I traded in the quest, and I think I got some iron coins and two bread. So I thought "But I could have made so much bread with the wheat instead of turning it in for the quest, right?" So I took the rest of the wheat I had to a crafting table at the very first building right after you go through the gate to plynth, and I made 28 bread. I have a feeling this wasn't maybe intended :P. As in, I'd think you meant for people to get their food by trading in coins at the merchant.
And I just completed the second quest the guy gives saying you were attacked. And he gave me like 26 coins. Just a ton. Which seems like a ton honestly. I mean don't get me wrong, it was pretty dangerous, but I still think 26 (close to 26 anyways) is too much.
AND I bought an enchanted iron sword from the apothicary lady, and used it to do the same quest a second time. Again, I'd think you intended that kill quest to be only done once considering how many coins it gives and therefore can be abused. Anyways, I tried using it, and it kept saying "critical" when I hit one of the goblins but they never got knocked back or took any damage. Although, I think my sword WAS taking damage. And I died because of it. Twice. And both times the charm that gives me my items back after I die wasn't consumed. I don't if i would've kept my items if I had the Charm in my inventory or not. Dude, you really should play-test your map. And if you did, please explain why these things happened to me.
Edit: Oh, i died, lost all my items, and all my items weren't where I died. I guess it just didn't show that the charm was gone. Though that doesn't explain how I died TWICE and kept all my items. I guess the charm is glitchy. Like something went horribly wrong the first time, second time it worked but didn't disappear from my inventory. Guess I'll reload/restart the map since that'd be faster then trying to work my way back up to where I was.
I'm a little late but i've recently played throught this map on my channel. there's something about these old maps that really brings out the creators creativity. really good stuff!

Did you not hear what I just said? using Forge 965, both with and WITHOUT the mods, minecraft won't launch. I mean did you not read all of my post?
