I have just discovered a way to make wireless redstone!!!
Now I know there have been ways before, but they have been messy or hard.
NOTE: You might wan't to turn off command output.
(If you make a video about this please credit me.)
Step 1. Build a wall out of a block of your choosing and add two buttons.
Step 2. Place a command block behind the first button.
Step 3. Type this into the command block. "give @p minecraft:skull 1 0 {display:{Name:Signal 1}}"
Step 4. Place a command block behind the other button and type this. "/clear @p minecraft:skull 0 1 {display:{Name:"Signal 1"}}"
Step 5. Place a command somewhere near and set it to repeat and always active.
Step 6. In that same command block type. "/testfor @p {Inventory:[{tag:{display:{Name:"Signal 1"}}}]}"
Step 7. Do this out of the command block.
Step 8. Press the first button and the light should go on. Press The second button and the light should go off.
Congratulations you have made wireless redstone!!!
You can use this for so many things like sending messages to a friends house without running redstone under ground between houses.
Now I think I'm the first one to figure this out but let me know if it has been done before.
No - wireless redstone has been around since the setblock command was invented. Just do a setblock with redstone block.
Maybe but I don't know. And yes it puts a skull in you inventory and I know the player might be able to use the skull but I will look into if I can make the skull unusable to the player.
