The numpad +/- and the -/= zoom keys are deactivated (not a big deal since you can use your scroll wheel) as I had to use one of them for something else.
Select with the left click Select many objects with shift + click Unselect objects with alt + click Move the camera around with the wheel click Rotate the camera with right click (like MCEdit!) Center on the object with Numpad + (with numpad) or with = (without numpad) Set the 3D cursor with shift + wheel click
When moving an object, you don't need to click again to let go of the object.
This key binding is likely to feel much more like what you have used before in games or other applications.
To load this key binding :
Click on the blue (i) icon at the top left of the screen, left of the File menu. Select "User Preferences". You have to stretch the menu bar down (?!?!?!) to actually show the settings. Click on "Input" and click "Import Key config". You can also make your own changes here but be advised that most keys are already used. So be careful what you choose to change. don't forget to click "Save user settings" if you change anything.

@LaserCucumber: I feel Blender is very intuitive and easy to use, but that's just me.
I agree. I started on Blender but now use 3DS Max. It's a little strange to jump back and forth but you get the hang of it after a few minutes.
Also,
I think I know what people are doing to make their skins render all black. I might make a Tutorial on how to fix the problem if people really need one.
Can you make it so you can bent the arms/legs and have fingers?
The OP hasn't been updated in years so I doubt he will update it any time soon, if ever. However you can edit the rig to have fingers. I am sure there is a YouTube video out there somewhere.

Numbers 1 to 0 will serve as numpad 1 to 0.

I'm guessing you scaled up the skin but didn't alpha it again.
I suggest rendering it out with an alpha background and then using something like Gimp or Photoshop to add in a background.
Just a simple render test, if people want a tutorial I can make one soon.

Part 2 of 3!
Yep! I made a tutorial on how to do this here http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1764490-blendcrafts-blender-tutorials/
