This question has probably been already asked, but could you please add the textures to the download I can't be stuffed to go to .minecraft and slowly copy them it would be a pain! So could you please add them?

Not sure what you mean, the textures are all packed into the blend file. They aren't visible in the editing window unless you switch it to texture mode, its set to solid mode at default.
I know this is not about Minecraft rigs, but I couldn't find the answer to my question anywhere: Can you make a scene animation in blender? I mean something like: from frame 1 to 10 there's a scene with a cube, and on frame 11 there's this whole new scene. Is this possible to make?
I beleive so, you'd just have to make some sort of disapeerence in the scene liek a block from 1-10 the block leaves during 10-11 and new objects appear 11-12 and if it looks funny you can cut it out in windows moviemaker or whatever program you have

You can either set up the different scenes in different layers or use nodes (its complicated) to pull it off. You definitely want to render animations as image sequences though, then you can convert those to a movie with other software or use blenders built in video sequence editor to render them into a movie. Or, you can use nodes to import the image sequence into a blank blend and render them out that way.
You'll want to google some of this, normally I'd explain it all step by step but I'm swamped right now with work :/
How do i import the body/creeper/fence,ect. rigs into an existing rig such as the miencraftrig2.blend with the blocks and such???
Use file-> Link/Append to bring things from one blend to another. You really want to start with a fresh blend and append it with only the blocks and rigs you are going to use, I think I answered this same question in more detail a page or two back

thanks now to get on with making animation :biggrin.gif:
By any chance could you add pressure plates? I want to make tables like they are in the new Minecraft villages (wood pressure plate above a fence post).

I went ahead and added pressure plates to the blend with the stairs and slabs, still waiting on 1.8 to do any major additions, renovations, etc.

It sounds like you might be doing it backwards, you want to append inside of a blank blend file. You then select the blend you are pulling stuff out of and navigate to and select the Objects you want to bring into your blank file. Here is a brief explanation.
I'll get an enderman made up after 1.8 and once I get my hands on some free time, no worries. Theres actually quite a few things I would like to throw together.
Hey, I was wondering. How could I get the MCObj blocks to use your rig's textures? I import using MCObj, but the blocks don't have textures, just solid colors.

There is another version called Mc2obj it has textures in it.

Looks like dropbox is being weird right now, its trying to open the blend with your browser. Did the same thing on my end. What you can do is right click the link and do "save as / save target as / etc" That seems to work out on this end.
When i pull up the blank rig (file containing two blank minecraft men, 1 textured, one flat) both of the characters apear purple but then show the skin when the image is rendered, how can i make it so i can see the skin like in the blankrig with blocks and tools, the characters in there have visable skins in and out of rendered image

I just updated that file for you, it should show the proper textures now in textured preview mode. If you notice this on any other blends, the fix is pretty simple. You need to pull open a new window and change it from 3d view to uv editor, then select the purple mesh, and go into edit mode. Select all (hotkey A), you should now see the uv's laid out across a blank image in the uv editor. Now you just need to open the correct image in the uv editor.
This is sort of a blender issue, basically in texture mode it previews with whatever image is currently open in the uv editor while the mesh is in edit mode. You only have to set this once, as it remembers the image it last used with each mesh. Keep in mind, you can change the texture of a mesh this way - but only in the 3d preview window. In order to actually change the texture that it renders with you still need to use the textures tab.
Im wondering if your going to update this (soon) for 1.8
I just don't want to try and update it but a few minutes later you've done it (better) and its a waste of effort.

I had planned to update everything for 1.8, but then it turned out that 1.8 was getting split into two parts. I will try to update it asap, things aren't as busy right now as they've been the past few weeks so I should get a chance to get things moving pretty soon. At the very least I can probably get everything merged into one blend and update the textures, items and mobs... Maybe sometime this weekend? Dont hold me to that, I've got my anniversary coming up and my wife will demand my free time isn't spent working at the computer.

Yeah, theres something weird with dropbox right now. Try right clicking the link and using the save-as dialogue, for some reason its just trying to open the blends in your browser right now. I really dont know why its doing that, since it wasn't doing it until this past week.
