This is a test thread to see if a "parts" thread would work. This thread is basically a skin thread, but with incomplete works, and the main purpose of this is to allow SkinEdit vets and noobs alike to take full advantage of the neglected "Parts Picker" button.
If you use any of these parts, it is not necessary, but I would like some credit given to me. It would be greatly appreciated.
Instructions
First things first, if you do not already have SkinEdit, go here : http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4843 Using these parts.
1. Download the latest SkinEdit.
2. Choose which parts you would like to use, right click on the layout provided, and click "Save Image As..."
3. After clicking "Save Image As...", write what you would like to name the part and put the layout into the "parts" folder that came with the download for SkinEdit.
4. Open SkinEdit.
5. Select Part Picker in the edit section
6. Choose which parts you want to use, and click okay.
7. ????
8. Profit!!

Having trouble finding a good base skin color to use?
I take no credit for the shirt + gloves.
This is my personal favorite skin color I use when I'm making a full skin to use. GL! :biggrin.gif: Give me some feedback! If this idea sucks, I'll stop making this. :biggrin.gif:

Note: [brag]I put love in every pixel, I don't use Noise, meaning I shade by hand :3[/brag]
That looks really nice, actually (especially that jacket). This is a mighty fine idea. Now I just have to work on making parts that look nice to post...
