Hello. Just wanted to say it's good to know people are still working on this resource pack, and wanted to know if there was anything I could do to help. I don't really possess any skills, but if there is something I can do, let me know.
Behind the Apocalypse #1: Noticing that some texture packs had changed the default skins, Steve and Alex, I wanted to ask what they were going to be. So King filled me in on what he had for Steve while I aided him with Alex. I also proposed we gave our versions of the defaults names (I suggested Brian and Kate), but King said that we should let everybody pick their names.
While we were discussing about food, King brought up that the pufferfish was going to be a Fugu (a type of Japanese puffer). I googled it and I recognized it as the same fish from the "AUGH!" meme, so I asked if we could add in the sound effects for the puffer. However, Pesto and King himself thought it'd be supporting animal cruelty (I know a lot of you guys would torment the puffers if we ever gave them the sound effects) and said we shouldn't. My comment after that was "Talk about wasted potential"...
The one thing that disappointed me was the nether being Grey now instead of the "Flesh" like world, especially with the soulsand used to have pours, its somewhat off putting to see Parasitic maggots growing something that isnt flesh, nevertheless that's not important. I do hope the team luck, especially since the Painting are glitched and netherbrick fences show missing textures, unless thats my own computer glitching
Im positive they wont mind, but i do hope you can fix some of the buggy textures and maybe add some for the hoglins and piglins
my head-cannon they look something like this, like a mix of the "Infected scientists" for the Zombie Pig-men before minecraft replaced them
It'll be a 1.15 map, I don't think I'll be tinkering too much with any of the newer update things. If I encounter any 1.15 bugs I can squash, I suppose I could upload the patch pack (just the parts I fixed)
Yeah Pand, you can use the pack. Thanks for remembering to credit.
By the way everyone, we're in need of more artists! We only have one right now, and he's too busy to work on the pack very often. If you're interested in helping out, let me know! I can't guarantee I'll see your message here, so shoot me a pm; that sends me an email that I'm much more likely to see.
