Welcome to the world at its end. Or rather, near its end. Extremely nigh, to be precise.
This pack is about the world as it circles the drain. While most post-apocalyptic packs focus on the world after a nuclear war or a many years after something quite nasty, this pack takes place during the nastiness. The decay is just setting in and maybe, just maybe, you can help set the world right again!
Hi! I am Dah_Kihng, the current team leader of this pack, The End is Extremely Nigh: Lazarus Edition. This is a 32x32 pack, meant to augment the game to make it more apocalyptic. As it says above, this pack takes place during the apocalypse, and is meant to be a full overhaul of the default game, with custom sounds, items, blocks, and names, all for the player's pleasure.
This is the continuation of the ever popular The End is Extremely Nigh
texture pack that was discontinued by the author. The currently
assembled team hopes to continue this pack into the future and hopefully
maintain it indefinitely.
The Team:
Dah_Kihng - Team Manager, Hiring Leader
JulenRaph - Modeler, CTM artist, French
RIPesto - Texture Artist
TheMythLord - Concept Artist
-More people needed!
Other team members, such as Dony_Rudolf, Pimbirthon, and Rascal 07 are currently inactive, but still considered part of the team.
The pack has been updated to 1.16, but is still missing a great many textures. We plan to post updates to close this gap periodically, but do not currently have an update schedule.
Gamin Wombat (the previous leader) had a feature where you could name the bow and the texture would change. You could name it Winchester and the textures would become those of a Winchester, get it? We could reimplement those, and add a M1 Garand as well.
Also, a pump shotgun in case for those who has a multishot enchant men.
also, i get it. will require optifine for that to work tho, just like the WW1 resource pack..
nevermind the winchester tho, just the pump sg and the M1.
The shield however should look like that Tactical shield from the old counter strike. i think Rudolf did have a texture for that and asked for it years ago.
Im so happy to find out that its still being worked on, my favorite resource pack when i discovered it back in 2013
Edit:12/27/19
Ive also had an old account that had a post of the last one that Wombat had, discussing that some older resource pack changed the names of items like Bio mech suit for diamond Chestplate, SanTech mech for the iron golem, the chainmail armor said infected, and i wonder how that could look, also heres one of the old textuer for a blaze
Hey, how is the texture going? Have the carpets been fixed? Can we get access to a newer edition for 1.14? I am madly in love with this resource pack and just wanted to make sure everything was still happening, mainly because there are still some missing textures for 1.14
I’m making some scary enviroments using the texture and SEUS PTGI shaders. Only had to change Lapis, redstone and emerald blocks into lamps on the files for the map to make sense with emitting colored lights.
I was wandering if this was an open pack, I would like to use some of your textures for a personal pack of mine, but I need to know about your privacy.
Sorry it took me so long to respond. Yes, it should be fine to use some of the textures, unless Santiago suddenly appears out of the void to oppose it.
Is this pack still worked on? I was thinking the redstone block texture could better be used somewhere else and the redstone block texture being used for an old-school CRT, white-plastic computer monitor. There's a mismatch between the stone texture of the ore blocks and the stone texture of the stone blocks.
Edit: It's working for me, and the Mediafire page still shows that anyone can access it, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Can someone else try the link and confirm it's working?
Anyway, for everyone waiting for an update, we're getting closer to releasing one. Unfortunately we're down to only 5 active members right now, and only one can create textures from scratch, so we're at a major bottleneck in terms of progress.

The crossbow should be like an M1 garand and when you use firework rocket, the barrel turns into the "Rifled grenade one" or maybe a shotgun.
I was figuring it'd be a shotgun, and the Multi-Shot enchantment would make it a sawed-off shotgun.
How about those lever action rifle ones? like one a rifle and with a multishot, it's a shotgun variant? I'm talking about the Winchester tho.
Sorry for the red carpet, I forgot to put all textures

Hey uh.. Download link is dead.

No the link is no dead, that work for me.

A update will realize soon with a lot of new thinks and it will work to the 1.15.2.
The download link leads to a mediafire "Permission Denied" page.
Wait, does it? I'll check it right now.

I can confirm the link is working, I've even built this little urban scene. Cheers to one of the best (if not only) apocalyptic packs out there.
