I started working on a texture pack about a year ago, mainly for myself and my own enjoyment, but it's come far enough that I'd like to share it with the rest of the MC community and see what y'all think~
There are 3 main goals of this texture pack:
1. to create a comprehensible set of color palettes for building without taking away from the survival experience;
2. to maintain a theme not unlike the default textures, which is vaguely realistic but also cartoon-y & stylized;
and 3. for me, as an artist, to improve my ability and create textures by hand that I can be proud of & enjoy using.
As of now, though 99% of the blocks are textured, several of these textures are old (or simply need improvement) and are thus subject to change. Some blocks—currently the observer, bone block, nether wart block, and bed—and entities have Faithful 32x textures, since that's what I used as a base in order to skip the step of resizing every texture in the pack.
Here is an up-to-date showcase screenshot:
default textures, if needed.
And here are a few of the color palettes:
Below are some extra screenshots of the texture pack in action.
A (badly-spawned) vanilla village:
And a non-vanilla rebuild of said village:
One more thing: I'm not running 1.13 yet, as it's currently very poorly optimized, but I do plan to update these textures in the future. I'm only a one man band, though, and I'm doing this for fun more than anything, so that may not happen quickly.
I'm posting this mainly to see if there's enough interest to warrant uploading the completed pack, so please do let me know if you like these textures.

Looks fairly nice, but I have some criticisms. The ores look a bit messy to me and simply stuck on. Some more embedding would be good I think.
