Congrats on the correct use of the Creative Commons license. It's wonderful to see a pack being continued, and even nicer for me to see a pack using someone else's work and NOT having to remove it for theft or breaking forum rules!
But seriously, this is a really great pack and I'm happy to see that it's going to be continued. Best wishes to all who work on this thing.

Thanks. I've seen versions of this which just filled in the unfinished content with JoliCraft... not OK! Thanks for the good wishes.
the block states for this thing were positively horrific, between the mushroom skins for red and brown giant mushrooms and the numerous textures for the inner surface, it required me to type out well over 600 different combinations... all so people could see them without MCpatcher
i'm glad my hand cramps aren't in vain, hehe
EDIT: ack, just realized the version i sent you had the giant mushrooms disabled since i didn't 100% test them
in the blockstates folder there is a folder called "hold" just move the brown_mushroom_block.json and red_mushroom_block.json to the "blockstates" folder. they do work fine as far as i can tell, i just can't promise i didn't accidentally disable some of them with a typo
the mossy cobblestone file in the "hold" folder is because i disabled that in favor of the new nicer looking but non-random one from lithiumsound, and the snow.json was disabled until i could figure out how to get the snowfall layers working properly without breaking,
they all work though and all their textures are set up, i just don't quite know how to get the snow_layer.json(not included) to work without breaking horribly
they work so far as no purple and black errors... as long as minecraft can find at least one working variant of a texture, it'll skip the broken ones, so if i did typo part of it, you won't likely notice
-all GUIs updated for 1.9+, modified the widgets.png due to migrane inducing contrast in the options screen
-husks and strays from the frostburn update(the old randomobs zombies had desert only versions that were EXACTLY what was needed), zombie villagers, some mob changes/additions/updates and a few randomizations. mind the dust, there may be a few bits from working i missed when cleaning up
-some new textures for blocks and items, some temporary, some finalized, same as above, i may have missed a WIP texture or two
-adjustments to some of the biome colors for slightly more color variance, not a lot
-over ONE-THOUSAND SIX-HUNDRED AND FIFTY hand-made json files for blockstates, merging over most of the old CTM stuff to the new system, i combed over them to fix any syntax errors i could find, did some sanity checking and made sure everything works, though i advise that you do NOT look at the mushroom tree and vines files if you value your sanity, those were horrific beyond compare
NOTE: i am not a texture artist, i have middling skill and i'm simply very good at chopping up and editing what i already have to work with. if you guys want this pack 100% complete, i'm going to need some more blocks to finish it off
any extra textures you feel like contributing will be helpful, doesn't matter if there is a version of it in the pack already or not, anything added can be helpful or possibly repurposed
short list of what's needed:
wither texture
magma slime texture
shulker texture
iron golem texture
better birch and jungle door
granite/andesite/diorite and the polished versions of them
new lava that actually looks like lava instead of tomato soup, magma block
better prismarine, dark/regular/brick, both guardians
end brick, purpur in all forms, end rod, chorus fruit popped/regular
I loved this pack, so I updated it a while. Then huntingdog took over, and I kinda lost interest in the game a while, but kept updating my own pack. Glad to see ReallyLogicalBrick took over for a while too, and now luna_panshiel also has done some work. It's a great pack, and in a way its funny how it is being updated in waves.
It's been dead for awhile now. I am considering giving it another update, but on the other hand I don't have time because of uni, I barely have time to play the game.
Good try, I do support this. Sad thing is, the support for random textures is gone, which was a big part of the Greatwood charm. Everything is now just one texture.
Tl;dr: I wish OP would revive the link, I would like to try updating it again some time. My old version is so out-dated that it would be a lot of work to update everything.

This looks nice, and simplistic. Keep up the good work!

First of all: Thank you very much for continuing work on this texturepack - it is undoubtedly my favourite!
Your dropbox link doesn't work anymore.
Any chance of this continuing?
ok so i finally got the motivation to do some more work on this after the horror that is the json files....

my last contribution before the forum gets locked down, i updated my block state work so that greatwood works CORRECTLY in versions 1.13 and 1.14

it still is missing a large number of newer blocks and mobs but the important part is it has been restored to functioning
