Well, the shading seems a bit too soft to me. Maybe that's the style you're going for, but cartoon packs usually have a lot contrast between shades (not too harsh though,)

I see what you mean, i think it's because when i converted the textures, i tweaked the coloring and shading a bit, i lightened some of the lines like in the stone and cobblestone textures, i thought the shading was a bit too harsh.
I didn't realise I made them a bit flat, i thought it was my new monitor that was making the stone textures seem like that, i can mess around with them a bit, see if i can fix the issue ^^ thanks for pointing it out

Small Update, mainly fixing the contrast problem i had, hopefully they look a bit better now
I had to rework the project files for the stone and dirt, and i had to completely remake the dirt with how i had it set up before, so that was fun.
But when i go through and reorganise the other textures, i can make tweaks like this really quickly, so hopefully i don't have a contrast or saturation problem again ^^ from what i could tell it was only the stone textures and the dirt that had the problem, if i missed anything please let me know.
V0.1 textures on the left, tweaked textures on the right
I've also been improving my sketches whenever i can, things are progressing nicely ^^

I really hate life sometimes, i activated another one of it's trap cards.
I'm not going to abandon this project again, but i can't work on it as much as i wanted to, i chose a bad time to get back to it, but at the same time i'm glad i did, it gave me the motivation i needed. Updates will slow down, but i'll try to not go 6 months without at least something to show, i'll try to do little bits at a time when i can.
But for now, here's what I've been working on, I've mainly been trying to figure out how alternative blocks work, i would love to have the system in the future after most of the other blocks are done

I'm so sorry for the 4 month hiatus, i have a bit of bad news and good news.
The reasons I've had to take breaks from this before are gone now, i'm free to work on whatever i want. Unfortunately, i lost access to the laptop i was using before and i can't run Minecraft with what i have now, so i have no way of testing the textures i make. I'll start designing and sketching again at least, but until i get a better computer, development will be slow until things improve.
But i should have things to show until then, so there's that at least. i'm sorry again for the hiatus, here's hoping it's the last one

Unfortunately, I have more bad news.
I've decided to move on from this thread for the time being. I feel really guilty whenever I don't update this for a while, and ever since I lost access to Minecraft, that has increased exponentially. Every time I start to progress on developing this pack, something else gets in my way, and I feel it's unfair to keep going away from this thread. The solution I was waiting for is helping a lot with making the textures, but I still can't test them in-game, so I've decided to temporarily re-focus the pack into something I can use and test with, until I can go back to developing it in Minecraft. That means I will still be working on the pack, I just won't be submitting updates or info on this thread in the near future.
I'm sorry if I've caused trouble for any fans or followers I got here, but i'm hoping in the future I can show you a more complete project. That is, if Mojang stops adding more blocks then i'm making currently
I'm glad to hear it ^^ i've had a lot of fun working on this pack again!
They do? Should i make the shading a bit darker?
