Greetings
Thistle here. This is a Resource Pack I have been working on since they were called texturepacks. Unfortunately, most of my time up until now has made my put the pack aside, due to life stuff and losing my motivation and ideas. But recently things have been calming down, and my passion for this project is at full force again, I sorely need something to get back into the groove of things, this is perfect for it, and I decided to revamp the thread layout, hopefully it looks better than it used to be.
The pack is designed and developed in the 128x resolution as the main one, but I will be making all resolutions available by the end, for all versions I make. So far, two are planned:
Alrenia/Alien: Meant to be the main pack, but I’m guessing people will go for the default version. This pack will have a bit more of an alien feel to it, with different colours, and a style more suited to the alien planet and species it is based on. All blocks and items, select 3D models, personalised paintings suiting the alien culture, custom alien language, alternate colormap and environment
Default/Minecraft: Sticking closer to default Minecraft and it’s colouring, but with my own personal touch and style to it. All blocks and items, select 3D models, minecraft based and inspired paintings

Look amazing! I think the dirt looks almost exacly like Sphax dirt though.
Thanks
That's because I used a similar technique to how he textures with the dirt, it was the first texture I made, before I had my own technique. I'll be reworking dirt and grass, so after the next version, any similarities to another pack is by coincidence
As said above: That's amazing! I really like those textures!
And yes, there will be more updates after 1.8.
Thanks, i'm glad people like it
That's really good to hear ^^ when I heard about the whole Microsoft thing, I had mixed feelings about it. I just got back into Minecraft when 1.8 released (I last played properly with 1.3) so it's good to hear things might stay the same

Yeah, everything will keep the same, the updates will continue, the same people(Jeb, Ryan Holtz, C418, Grumm, Dinnerbone, etc.) will continue developing the game, everyone still can mave videos, basically everything's the same.

Sweet. I hope great things come out of this then ^^

Currently working on V0.1 ^^ I plan to have wool, stained clay, stone bricks, and trees created and finished texturing, which means leaves and log tops for the trees
So far I have finished the wool textures:
I am also going to start working on making the OP look better, and more organised then it already is, and make the banner usable
But to be honest, I thought this was a PvP Remix of Sphax, but then I took a look around and compared and realized it wasn't. Haha, I was about to write a bad review fro this

Wow, didn't think it would be that easy to make pictures as links, thanks, I got it to work now ^^
Love those logs and planks!

I 'd like to use this pack any day
