Wow, sounds like quite a challenge Steelfeathers! I've never modded anything before, so I'm of no help there, haha. But I'm really loving this pack so far! I can't wait to see it more finished when you get the time :).

I have been waiting for this texturepack for so long because it's so perfect. It just needs to be complete.. Steelfeathers please update pleeaasse or if you aren't gonna finish it can you at least hand it over to someone else because I am dying to use this
FYI everyone, I'm almost done my Skyrim mod, after which I might circle back to Minecraft (and this pack).
The good news is that now that I can access the skyrim textures directly, I have a much better pool of references to pull from. Brick texture, you shall be conquered!

Oooooh, a skyrim mod!
Exciting stuff, I've been considering making one myself actually, need something skyrim-y to distract me because I want to play it but I'm not going to again until skywind comes out (or at least for a few more months and I forget the locations of everything in normal skyrim)
Still, would be nice to see you continue some work on this pack, I think I speak for everyone when I say I wanna see more!

I'd love to see what you've done in Skyrim, since your Minecraft textures are quite nice.
Looks really cool, will definitely check it out. Actually seems well balanced too - nothing looks like it would be especially overpowered. (I HATE becoming to powerful in that game, love the struggle to survive you get with a bunch of tricky mods at the lower levels)
I'd have to do some testing with it as I play with a bunch of mods, including at least one large overhaul like requiem or skyre... Hopefully it's compatible with them!

It's 99% standalone, so it should be compatible with just about everything. Keep in mind, though, that it isn't balanced for Skyre/requiem.
Also, if you have further questions/comments (I luv feedback), could we move this discussion to the forum thread I linked? I don't want to get slapped by the mods for being off-topic.

I am so happy to see the new update coming soon (:D !
Note: This TP is now the default TP for my server. I'll build everything with it to make it look fabulous.
Now i think of it, the plank textures do not really match the log.
The Oak log, for example, has on the upper texture a way brighter color, but using the oak planks color would make it look horrifying; so let's just say you should keep it as it is....

But i have a question whats the block you're using as window in this image?
or is that a version you haven't released yet?, I can't wait to see the finished version
Also I have a few suggestions:
- Would it be possible to make the end frame portal look like the sovngarde portal? http://www.elderscrollsguides.org/elder-scrolls-quests-the-world-eaters-eyrie/
The enchating table like the Arcane Enchanter
The beacon like a stone
The brewing stand like the alchemy table
Most of the above are probably already thought of, but still wanted to point then out
