I've re-done the stone bricks and slab.
The goal was to bring more depth to them and bring them up to date with the newer textures (the old ones where some of the very first).
(Top is new)
Thoughts?
Should I leave the old ones as alts?
Maybe with the slab and ornate stone block, but honestly I don't much see the point in bothering. They're not too different, really, and I'd say your new versions are like improved versions of the old ones.
This is absolutely, no doubt on of the best 'variations' of the Faithful that I have ever seen. I hope you continue to work on this until all the textures, mobs, items, GUIs, etc. are done. Keep up the good work!
Playing on this texturepack for a bit today, and I noticed that it shows the 'hungry' effect on the hunger bad all the time. I'm gonna assume this is a bug.
The new update is now in the OP.
It is mainly cleaning up the reaming textures in the blocks and items files (I still have some to go), and re-doing some of the older ones.
I have also included the HD font by d3fin3d and the HD paintings by Ghost 2.
I'd like to hear your input on the Nether textures in particular.
This texture pack is perfect! Faithful, in my opinion was just too...thin? It seemed sharp and uncomfortable. Your texture pack, however, is warm and softer. Perfect!
Anyway, with the new update. The font seems to be broken. It stretches too far and doesn't fit. I might have downloaded it wrong but everything else is fine.
Thanks again for the amazing texture pack! Can I use it in my videos if I link this forum post?
Thanks!
I've fixed the downloads (I think). I was using Optifine, and it fixed the problem for me. Should be good now.
As for videos, I would be happy if you to use it in your videos with a link back to here!
Wow, this is really nice. I do not like the default textures at all yet you've re-made them in such a way that I would really use this if I was looking for a higher resolution pack! Good work. =)
May i get someone to edit this pack for my channell and use it for private use?? i will only add my channell Mark to the container gui's and some other gui's

So long as it's for private use and you link back here I'd be happy for you to use it!
When will the next update be? The health for horses hasn't been textured and is now just the pink squares. I know it's not much to be worthy of a new update, but could you perhaps add a thing to the OP to acknowledge what is to be done so that we have a time frame?
Oh, I didn't notice that... The download links have been updated. There is still a purple background from my negligence, but you can see the hearts so it'll be good enough until I get to the next update or some more issues are discovered with the current download.
Oh and one more thing (I bet you hate me already), the final stage of the wheat crop is a little bit hard to decipher. By this I mean, could you perhaps make it more yellow like the default as I am struggling to know when it has finished growing.
I have been working on that, and i taught that i had included it. There is a difference at the moment, and looking for the dark spots helps. I'll probably change it next update (in a week or 2).
This should be the last thing for now but if I find anything else I will be sure to let you know. Again, I'm sorry for these comments but I'm only trying to improve the pack as it is one of my favourites.
Don't be afraid to post any comment because you think it's annoying. That kind of feedback is precisely what I'm looking for. If anything seems even slightly off, I'd like to hear it.
This pack is looking pretty nice so far. I really like the look of the stone, iron, and redstone lamps.
I'll lay out a couple issues/critiques i have here:
1. to me the sandstone looks too much like cobble, round instead of the more blocky default. I really like the rectangular cobbled sandstone look.
2. The texture transition on the stone bricks is a bit awkward. having the "mortar" on just one side makes it look odd next to other blocks.
3. It looks like the gravel texture is different in some screen shots. I like the look of it in the lower picture, it looks more like a collection of small rocks, and less like gray circles

My most successful suggestion yet!
Yea... that's why the thread has [1.6.2] in the title.
Whoops...

I suggest using your eyes to look at textures before posting comments concerning them.
