Look, there are already at least 10,000 other packs exactly like this one. Go through shading and tiling tutorials then start from scratch. Create your own style that will stand out from other styles. Come up with an idea for the pack other than "recolor" or "better improved default". After you do that, come back here with screenshots and a non-profit download link introducing your new pack.
As a restatement of Copper and FailStoner, A default pack has absolutely no way it can grow. Come back here with a different idea.
And I think you still don't under stand. MaNgAkA_fReAk is right.
Your cobblestone looks like random scribbles. Does that look like cobblestone?
You really didn't need to quote my post 3 times, you could've just hit the edit button, but okay, I'll look at the pack now.
Okay, everyone else is telling you to remake your pack, but obviously you don't want to do that so I'll give you something you can do to upgrade this one.
1.) Depth. You're gonna need more shading. The grass and cobble look too bland. Try to make it look like there's an unbalance in the land, or maybe larger streaks of darker grass in different places.
Try to make the grass sides and snowy grass sides appear to be ontop of the dirt beneath it by adding some noise and shadows (not too much noise though, then it'll look bad).
2.) Shape. I know you've said you're gonna change your shapes, and I can see you've been working on that, so I won't spam you to change from the defaults. It's the shapes you've made that I wish for you to upgrade.
Take, for instance, the cobblestone. You should think about taking the texture you have currently, and try to form bulgy, round rocks out of the lines. Right now it looks to unnatural, and too noisy. I know it's hard to do this with pixels, but try to make the rocks in the cobblestone more smooth around the edges, rather than strait cuts.

Thanks i need advice not criticism i will use this advice.
Um, criticism is advice. And my criticism is that you need to add more shading to the textures.
Most the criticism I'm getting is like "This pack has no potential" with nothing being said to help me but things like this "Your pack needs some changes, change cobblestone." Helps. People are just saying something bad and nothing I can improve on the texture pack.
I prefably would say don't listen to them. Espically FailStoner who is spamming the same thing ,_,. I think its fine it just needs a bit more work and also I recommend doing this. For example our block we are making is dirt.Make a dirt textureMake another oneAnd another oneChoose which one is the best between those three. If you still don't like it then do three more again. Also I recommend updating the photos often. Last of all only do one or five photos and use this theme where all the blocks are together:http://www.minecraft...dened-clay-ctm/See how he has put the blocks together on the ground.
Yes! Finally someone sees Failstoner is spamming and thanks for the advice.

Please oort_3, listen to my advice because you are still not listening.
OK, I see that you changed your shapes. Well with your iron tools it
looks like a recolor so you should make your own shapes there,
and the cobblestone looks like random scribbles which has big
tiling errors. And the wooden stairs and stuff is a recolor.
So it looks like you are still not listening to me.
I disagree with this sentence on so many levels. By saying this, you are essentially saying to not follow advice which will make his packs better. The reason why FailStoner was, in your terms, 'spamming' was because oort_3 seemed uninterested in following the critique he received.
Okay guys, will everyone just settle down? It's starting to get a bit rough up in this thread. Just let the man/woman make his resource pack, and tell him what to change and HOW he can change it. I think this is what's causing this whole "advice vs critisism" thing is because some people aren't saying HOW they could make the pack better, they're just saying what they do/don't like about it. I'm not saying that everyone is saying this, I'm just trying to point out the whole shabang of this conflict.
Anyways, oot, just keep up your work and it'll improve.
Hey oort_3, just for now try to figure out a theme! You don't need to make any textures, just brainstorm some ideas, something that the world has never seen before. And FailStoner, stop "spamming"!

Also, Failstoner isn't spamming. He's just restating his ideas in different ways, trying to get him to understand.
I already said this. He's not listening. Also, Failstoner isn't spamming. He's just restating his ideas in different ways, trying to get him to understand.
Oops didn't realize you already had said that, in this ocean of posts!

I never said anything about changing shapes.
He should be listening to those who critique him. It will help him learn.
