Introduction
I present to you, Another Point of View resource pack (or just APoV). APoV is a work in progress pack compatible with Minecraft 1.6 and 1.7. The resolution is 64x64 pixels per block (4x the size of standard Minecraft texture). More information about this pack can be found in the "About" section.
All textures here were made from scratch, hand crafted using a variety of digital tools. Therefore, the creation process is very time consuming, updates may take a while but certainly will occur.
Know that if you bothered to read this thread, downloaded the pack and made constructive criticism, you will have due attention. As you valued the time I spent on this work I will also value your time, considering your input (leave your suggestions! ).
Please, take a look at the images below!

About
APoV is a resource pack created under some parameters, which are:
Partially faithful
Similarity with Minecraft vanilla blocks. Structures made in vanilla Minecraft will preserve roughly the same style. Colours, shapes even some of the logic behind the blocks are very close to vanilla. It is almost an improved version of the original textures from Minecraft.
Easy recognition
The blocks were designed to be easily recognised, yet with a touch of style. The visibility was improved by using slightly lighter textures and the appearance of the materials they are made of was standardised (all wood stuff use the same wood texture, for example). Some details have been increased while some other elements have been simplified, all with the aim of facilitating the recognition of the blocks.
Between pixel art and realistic art
A touch of realism with pixel art.
Logical design
The materials shown in the art represent the necessary components to create the block. You will not see, for example, metal parts in objects made purely of wood (e.g. crafting table). Of course, some exceptions are accepted for the good of the final result.
Modularity
The resource pack aims to be used without the need of special programs, using only basic Minecraft. However, advanced features will become available (CTM, mod support, et cetera.) and be downloaded separately. In other words, you only download what you need to use. This minimises the number of unnecessary files for the end user (lighter packages).

Its very beautful! If i could ever get good in building in pc, i would build something and show it to you with your texture pack. Really amazing! I love it!!

I have only one criticism of your texture pack, is that most of the plants look really weird to me because of the high res nature of the pack.
Thank you for the input, Mullac.
Can you give me more information about exactly how strange it looks for you? Is it difficult to understand the shapes? Too thin? Glitch?
Can you send me a screen of what you dislike?

I think its the saplings 1. I can't even tell if they are saplings or not 2. they (to me) look more like 2d slightly off pictures of general sapling type things.
Very nice, I always loved resource pack that look realistic.I agree, I think the stone and cobblestone should be just a little bit darker.
Thanks for the inputs.
Indeed, it was a choice for the pack style.
The visibility was improved by using slightly lighter textures
BUT, with version 1.7, is possible to distribute small packages with some modifications (a less bright version, for example). I will create a suggestions session, and record your observation there.
As soon as possible I will make an "extension" with a darker stone.
Can you guys show me some pictures of how "darker" It could be?
I got to look at the pack earlier on and still really love the textures so far for this resource pack, it's more of what I would be looking for in a pack that is faithful to the game and higher res than vanilla, yet also really pretty.
That you will be offering various versions to cater to the players is nice.

This is a real life Oak sapling.
This is the APoV oak sapling
And this is the Vanilla oak sapling
As you can see, the vanilla texture is not even close to the real life sapling. I tried to make something between the vanilla and the real life oak sapling.
Help me to make something that is under the guideline of the pack and is more pleasant for you.
Have you any thought or ideas that you could suggest to make the package more enjoyable for you?
I suppose by darker stone they might mean one of these:
Otherwise I look forward to watching as my world converts to hi res and as you continue to cover more mod blocks.
Oh and when you get the chance to, if you could make the stone on the keystone receptacle match the new stone bricks that would be great or a redesign on the receptacle could be cool overall.

I will try to finish vanilla block textures first (I am close!). When I start the items I will do blocks for mod in parallel. What mods do you think I should choose first? Thaumacraft 4? Ars Magica 2? Natura? Tconstruct? (et cetera)
