This looks great but me being a texture noob (not a minecraft noob just textures) i cant seem to load the pack.
when i downloaded it i just got three things: 1. pack.png 2. pack.txt 3. terrain.png i have tried all combinations of the three and the whole folder but nothing registers on the texture and mods screen. I have a mac and am fully updated. Help!
EDIT: got it to work *note to all mac users it has to be in .zip not a regular folder
@Aeruu: Heh, I absolutely love Yogscast and just had to get that skin.
@natelieb4: I appreciate the hard work you put into this! I do plan on releasing the updated pack with finished gui screens soon.
@TheMatt98: Fire looks normal to me using my terrain.png, and as far as I know that texture isn't being used. I might be wrong though, so I will add in a fire texture just in case. :smile.gif:
@tigerstan1: I'm assuming you're using Safari, which by default unzips zip files after you download them, so you just end up with the contents of the zip file. Easiest way to counteract this is to right click the download link & select "Download linked file". That way you'll download the zip file intact and all you need to do is place it in your texture packs folder. You could also select the three files that you mentioned, right click and select "Compress 3 items". Then put that zip file into the texture packs folder. Let me know if you have any problems. Edit: Ah I see you've beaten me to it. Glad you've gotten it to work. =)
@ everyone looking forward to updates: Once again sorry for the less frequent updates, but it is the holidays & I'm sure you all know how busy life can get during this time. :tongue.gif: I am most definitely not abandoning this pack! I have every intention of finishing it, but as I have said before I'd rather take my time than rush to finish it and release a mediocre pack. Anyway next week I will have more free time which definitely means updates. :smile.gif:
I love the pack, but at the moment everything from default Minecraft looks really out of place. The water looks a bit dark and liney(The texture of the spring block looks strange. I know you're working getting everything eventually, but for me it looks pretty strange now. Also, Chests never seem to face the right way for me.
Sparkling Pack
A simple name for an even simpler texture pack :biggrin.gif:

There was even going to be a party for you. A big party. That all your friends were invited too. I invited your best friend the companion cube. Of course, he couldn't come because you murdered him. All your other friends couldn't come either, because you don't have any other friends. Because of how unlikeable you are. It says so right here in your personal file: UNLIKEABLE, liked by no one, a bitter, unlikeable loner, who's passing shall not be mourned, SHALL NOT BE MOURNED. That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official. It also says you were adopted, so thats funny too.
Been lookin for this texture pack! Thought it was moonshine until I actually read the /zip. derp.
can't wait till ya update this! love it so much.
Thanks for the kind words :smile.gif:

Some bad news everyone: My Mac, on which I do all of my Photoshop work, was borked a couple days ago. So at the moment I have no Photoshop and so can't work on an update as I had planned. Luckily I do have my .psd files uploaded so I haven't lost those, it's only a matter of getting the Mac working again which may take a couple of days. So the update will have to be delayed a bit, unfortunately.
And thanks everyone for the patience and understanding throughout my lack of updates, I can't wait to have the pack finished and fully usable for you all. :smile.gif:
Well, I await anxiously for the next update. A compliment regarding the texture pack is that I love how smooth the texture pack looks despite being a 16x16.
bookmarked, definitely my favorite texture pack. ill download it tomorrow when the new stuff comes out :biggrin.gif:
and try to make the mobs (if your making custom mob skins) still keep looking how they were meant to look, ive seen too many texture packs be great and then kill themselves by having either mobs that are supposed to be scary (the fear put in by mobs is that you know theyre coming and theres nothing you can do about it) or that they just look plain wrong. hope i help :3
diamonds to you
and 1 hidden one to make you work for it
i just looked over the pictures of the texture pack again, (and i downloaded it couldent resist)
and the mossy cobblestone looks too subtle D: try making the moss darker, it looks way too faded
Check out my texture pack!

Two teasers for the next update (coming tomorrow):
Will most likely have a relatively finished terrain.png (finally!) as well as inventory stuff. :smile.gif:

I think I've found a name! And unless my google-fu skills deceive me, that name hasn't been taken yet, surprisingly.
Thank you kindly for the suggestion.
