Hey I'm having a small issue with your pack..well not really 100% with your pack..but let me explain. The default grass gradient seems to make a lot of the grass look REALLY lime green and just makes me want to tear my eyes out. Now I know this isn't your fault but this is the only pack I'm really having this issue with while every other pack looks just fine to me..I just think it needs to be darker..any way I can change this or if there is a gradient mod you can point me towards?
Love it still BUT! the custom water/lava are blah! Probably because they don't move but I had to uninstall the pack due to them :tongue.gif: Great work Moontrain, love the update!

What you're looking for is the grasscolor.png file in the misc folder. Open minecraft.jar (if you don't know, you can get to this by clicking on the 'open texture folder', going up a folder level and opening the 'bin' folder) using 7-zip, WinRAR or WinZIP and look for the 'misc' folder. Copy that folder, open the Lucid texture pack and paste it in there. Now, open the 'misc' folder and open the 'grasscolor.png' in your chosen image editing software. You can also adjust the foliage color if you want.
Let me know if I didn't explain that well enough. Hope it helps :smile.gif:

I know about the grasscolor.png..just didn't know I had to put it in the lucid pack..I'll go try that..
I just did it..changed absolutely nothing. Here's what it looks like: http://oi56.tinypic.com/2agm0zn.jpg Basically wherever that was a brightish green color in default texture pack there is this bright lime green color.

Try making the whole thing red or something; then you'll know for sure whether something just isn't working.
Also, if you used the HD texture patch (to get new water and lava), make sure you repatch it with the new pack you've made.
As far as I know foliage & grass color pngs won't override the default if you're simply using the texture pack selector. So even if you have a modified grasscolor.png in the texture pack .zip file, the game will still use the default from minecraft.jar. You can use xau's HD patcher to overwrite the default though.
I totally share your hatred for the way the default grasscolor.png makes certain areas look, Chichen. Just too harsh & saturated. I'll make my own today or tomorrow so you can use the HD patcher to replace the default.
Ah you're right! I've updated the post with a new download link. =)

What is with the second angry looking pumkin???
It's an alternate pumpkin, to use if you don't like the smiling one.
Well this is embarassing... lol. I'll have it fixed in a sec. =)
Edit: Alright, get the fixed version here. Sorry about that :tongue.gif:
The reed looks fine on mine...
