Not liking the new cloth textures. They were fine before the latest update :sad.gif:
I do like the other stuff though.
They were too flat for my tastes, plus the colors seemed too washed out. But once I get a customizer going I'll make sure to add in the old ones. :smile.gif:

I have a suggestion, you should add options. Like painterly pack, but on a smaller scale. So if I want smaller cobblestone or bigger cobblestone I can choose. Not totally sure how you'd do this, besides uploading the different textures and letting people edit the texture.jpg
That's the plan, and hopefully I can get something similar to the Painterly customizer going. Don't expect it any time soon though, I have almost no experience with scripting languages so I need to find someone that can help me with that.
By the way guys, the website is up! Very bare for now but it's nice to have a place I can easily post updates & you all can easily access them.
Just wondering. do you use some special program to make your pack or do you just do it the cool, normal way?
Anyways, I'm not bad at this kind of stuff and was wondering if I could help on anything? just a suggestion. Probably not good enough for this awesome pack :tongue.gif:
You should also put a little forum thing on your website so we can share what we think other than on this forum where you come back everyday and you could just focus on one thing instead of reading anything people have written in the past 24 hours. Just a suggestion (again)
umm is there any chance you could either type or do pictures of how to install it on windows vista because this is the first texture pack i have installed/ing because ive stuck to the original graphics and im unsure how to install it.
It's pretty easy actually, go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run, type in "%appdata%/.minecraft/" and press Enter. From the window that pops up, go to the texturepacks folder. Copy the zip file you downloaded into that directory, open up Minecraft, go to Mods and Texture Packs and select my texture pack from there. :smile.gif:

I just use Photoshop for my work, it's really helpful to have layers.
You can send/show me any suggestions you have. :smile.gif: I do like to have a consistent feel across my textures so I like to make all the textures myself, but making edits like Pludrpladr has with the breaking animation really helps me easily tell what you guys would like to see and gives me something to start with.
As per a forum-type area, I do plan on adding a small section for suggestions & ideas for the pack, so you'll see that in the future.
I actually really like this texture pack. Nighttime is kind of bright, which is nice. One thing that irks me, though: iron is very hard to spot in caves. The contrast between it and the rock needs to be greater, I think. It blends in too much for me.
That aside, the pack as a whole still looks great!
I do believe the minerals that are on right now is only placeholders. Am I right moontrain?
Pretty much yeah. I need to make them all stand out more, especially the iron. And I want to add some variation to them.
And Bloq, I think I'll make the cobblestone a tad darker to make it stand out more from stone. And there might be some minor changes that I've forgotten to note, not sure.
Ok, this pack will definetly be the next painterly pack, in popularity not style i hate the pp D:<
the website is damn sexy although i hope you edit the background. cant wait for customizer, i can picture this pack having TONS of options :biggrin.gif:
and we could have a SQUIDDAPULT SQUID :biggrin.gif:
lol jks
but really this pack is like someone else who im to lazy to go check said, a diamond in the rough
keep being awsome
This has come a long way and instantly became a favorite.
Any chance we'll see Wild Grass support? That's the only thing keeping your pack from being my default!
Awesome work
I actually made makeshift Wild Grass textures when I was trying it out, I think I'll add in proper ones in the next version.

I love this pack, the grass seems a bit too bright though.
Well right now it's using the default grass colors, I plan on making my own grasscolor.png in the future just to tone down a few places where it's a little too bright. But don't expect a huge change. :smile.gif:

Isn't wildgrass a mod? Just install it.
Well it needs its own textures, and anyone wanting to use Wild Grass with my texture pack right now would have to manually copy & paste the textures into it, plus I'm sure the default Wild Grass textures don't really fit well either.
By the way, once again, if anyone can help me out with a customizer (at least in getting me started in the right direction) I would be insanely grateful.
Proper WG support would rock my world. And I for one like how vivid the grass is. Provides a nice contrast to the otherwise slight desaturation in the other items. It fits I think!
Look forward to all your updates!

The only complaint I have is the wooden door. I think the window looks silly. It should be more rounded. Other than that this pack is sexy. I don't really like the bricks or wool that much but they're okay.
I agree; it looks a bit like a door to an outhouse at the moment. I made one I've been using if you want to use it or modify it (http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/5420/doorb.png), but either way I hope the door changes. I would also like the ore to be a little less uniform. Brilliant work otherwise though; I've been using this for a good long while now and it's jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Keep it up!
do you plan on makeing a new mob folder for the pack
i only ask because when i see a or realy i feel that it doest REALY fit the pack......
anyways totally into it already and what its becoming.
In total agreement regarding the wooden door. I'll make a better one soon.
any chance you could have a go at making a door that looks right when its by itself, but when you use 2 together it makes a sweet as double door? no one has done this and my castle look lackluster because of such negligence by texture pack creators :tongue.gif: hahaha. i jest, but i would love to see if you could :smile.gif:

I love this pack, especially the mossy cobblestone.
My obsidian bridge-thing looks awesome with this pack!
