I can't really make anything good with paint :c
I'll try with paint.net later. The problem is that I can't really visualize how the breaking animation can look smooth >_<
Hah no worries, I can imagine it's difficult, that's why I've been putting it off myself. :tongue.gif:
Hey Moontrain, can I make a modded version of your pack a texture option for my mod?
It wouldn't be heavily modded, just some new block textures. Here's a link to what I'm working on: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=138252

Of course!

I thought about down-toning the colors of the breaking and maybe add more shade. Does that seem like a good idea?
Sounds good. :smile.gif:

Hey, love your texture pack, much cheerier than everyone else's "Ultra HD Packs!!!11!" and I have one suggestion for you, could you make the mossy cobblestone look more like cobblestone with moss like mixed in rather than it looking like green cobblestone? Obviously its not my texture pack or anything but just a suggestion :smile.gif: xxx
Yeah I plan on refining the mossy cobble quite a bit. So you will see that in the future.

Hey I took the terrain.png and changed cobblestone and mossy cobblestone. Just trying to give some suggestions, always glad to help. :smile.gif:
On the cobble i just simply made it a bit darker, and on the mossy i gave it a more "viney" feel.
since your going to work on the items some time, i thought up an idea that may be pretty cool
for the color items (the things that you use to make cloth change color)
maybe make them look like small vials of color, like glass shampoo bottles without any paper or writing, and the liquid would be the color, if you know what i mean...but maybe this wouldent work because you have to cook cactus top get cactus green, and i dont see how cooking a cactus would make a jar XD
tell me what you think, as you know i love to give ideas for the pack, if im bored enough maybe i could make a small picture of them on paint?

Interesting idea, but like you said, it wouldn't really make sense with the way they're crafted. :tongue.gif:

Breaking animation will have to wait for tomorrow. It's 10 minutes to 1 (not 13. 1) and I'm too tired to work now. Sorry
EDIT: Of course by tomorrow I mean later today
No worries! :smile.gif: Take your time.
And I lied guys, there is another small update! Check the first post for the download link, you'll find info on new updates there from now on.
On very rare occasions do I ever comment on any mod or texture pack on the forums, but I figured this one just had to be something I commented on. This texture pack is just amazing, I find that the texture packs that get the most recognition are just plain major overhauls and differ from the original style too much for me to feel like I'm playing even the same game. But your texture pack is a diamond in the rough, just subtle enough to keep the atmosphere of the game and still differentiate it from the crowd. I'll probably be using this texture pack until Minecraft goes kaput C:
Looks nice! Recommend putting up what resolution it is in your title, just for advertisement sake. :smile.gif: It is a bit too clean for me, but I'm still stuck back in the unrefined minecraft look! I like it that way.

Oooh, liking the look of the darker cobble. I'll definitely add a darker cobble variation once the website is done. And thanks for the mossy texture! I'll use that as a basis for mine, I've been having some trouble with it.

I'm editing the breaking now, and I noticed the minetracks had random rainbow colors under them. Leftover reference colors?
Haha that's the lapis lazuli block texture! Still a WIP but it's meant to be a swirl of blue & bits of yellow color. :smile.gif:

Secondly. I'm done with the breaking animation! Take a look.
So what I've done is to make the darkgrey color a little lghter and to add shade to all sides of a pixel (apart from the shade itself) I also tested it in-game and it looks lovely :smile.gif:
Ooh looks good! I like the shades you chose. Thanks for working on this :biggrin.gif:
I'm thinking of drawing my own breaking animation eventually but I'll add those in for the next release, though I might modify them just a bit.

I like how it is, but it's up to him of course.
That's quite an old post you quoted :tongue.gif: And actually I did darken the wood & added some noise to the grass. But don't worry, the grass & wood textures are pretty much final (other than variations that will be on the website of course).
Lastly thanks to everyone for the kind words once again. :smile.gif: I have some free time today so I think I'll take another look at the suggestions you guys have for me & work on finally finishing terrain.png.
I have a suggestion, you should add options. Like painterly pack, but on a smaller scale. So if I want smaller cobblestone or bigger cobblestone I can choose. Not totally sure how you'd do this, besides uploading the different textures and letting people edit the texture.jpg
Hah no worries, I can imagine it's difficult, that's why I've been putting it off myself. :tongue.gif:
Yes, it's updated for Beta 1.2. :smile.gif:

Awesome job though, I couldn't do that.

Check out my texture pack!
Hey Thx for this post!! I Love it!!
