i like the idea of them being stacked!
borders arent really a good idea though :/ would just look better if they looked like diamond/gold/iron bricks
amek them shiny, but not the iron make it look hard and maybe a bit dull
and keep the laputas (whatever its called) nice and still blue/purple ish
I really really love your texture pack, i personally think that it is the BEST texture pack out there!
But, i think you should go back to the broken cloth that it gave me when you didnt have a texture for black cloth.
It looks really sexy, and think that it would be better than the original that u made.

Whats so bad about technology? It should be really super hard to get (like you need to make a new crafting bench with 9 diamonds, and then you need to get more hard things)
[Diamond] [Diamond] [Diamond]
[Diamond] [Diamond] [Diamond]

The new white wood's top and bottoms are the same as normal wood. Is this what you intended because I think it looks kinda weird.
There's really no way for me to fix that other than possibly removing the edge around the top & bottom, since all of the different wood types use the same texture for the top & bottom. But I'll see what I can do.

Any chance of making Netherrack look more... hellish? The rest of the pack is awesome, it just looks a bit... brickish atm :tongue.gif:
Of course! I will make more Hell-ish textures for the Nether, basically regard all Nether textures right now as placeholders. I just haven't gotten the time to work on them properly yet.
Update:
Small changes today:
[*:3m2l8ugd]Worked a bit on the sandstone, still not entirely satisfied with it.
[*:3m2l8ugd]Made ore blocks have less squarish ores, they look a bit more natural now.
[*:3m2l8ugd]Changed the dispenser texture to something more interesting.
[*:3m2l8ugd]Changed the sugar cane texture to give it a brown stem & other small tweaks.
That's it for now! Next I need to make a dispenser GUI screen and I'll probably start on items after that.
hey are you using occulent occlusion? because it looks really nice witht he pack, im going to go download it :biggrin.gif:, but it makes my game lag more than my usual 4 fps :sad.gif:

I think you mean ambient occlusion :wink.gif:. Yup, I'm using BetterLight & BetterGrass.
Quick update:
Just added a GUI screen for the dispenser. Sorry about the tiny updates, this will be the last. The next will likely have the items done. :smile.gif:
I just thought of something. I kinda want to practice pixel art. Could I help with anything? I wouldn't mind a no from you, as long as you keep being awesome :3
I'm always open to new ideas & improvements you guys can offer, so making an edit or a new texture that you think looks good & fits with this pack is awesome for me since I'll have a visual representation of your suggestion rather than just words.
For example if you think you can make a nice lightstone or Netherrack texture, or things like items, it would help me out a lot. Then I could use those as a basis for the final textures.
So yeah, if you want to help out I'm always grateful to see any edits or new textures that you can show me, like Lodey did for example with the stacked ingots for metal blocks, it's really useful for me. :smile.gif:
I'm using your TP for a long time now, it is actually the best one for me.
No "omfg 720p ultrahd-textures" that don't match each other in design, but a very simple improvement of the classic Minecraft-Style.
Well, usually I'm a quiet reader, so what me made posting this is this "bug" (?):
I don't like using BetterGrass, this green colour came up with the new update.
Sorry if I missed posts concerning this.
Ah, that's a bug with MrMessiah's patcher right now. You get that if you install BetterLight without BetterGrass. He should have it fixed soon, so keep an eye on his thread.
By the way guys, I've noticed the iron is way too pink right now (doesn't look much like iron at all), and the light colored wools are too light - I'll have these changed soon. :smile.gif:
Love the texture pack so far, best one I've seen & can't wait to see updates.
With that said I have 2 suggestions. Minor, but you said you were open for them.
Making cobble/mossy cobble a bit darker (same as stone would be perfect) but still keep them bricks :smile.gif:
Make lightstone a little less... crowded? Lots of different color and shading in it, would be nice if it were a little simpler.
Also, diamond ore is barely noticeable, if at all. make the diamonds in it bright blue.
Hi im kind of new here, first of all i would like to say this pack is amazing, I would love to be a part of this and i noticed you have yet to modify paintings. I have had some work with paintings before and would like to help if possible, here is my set of paintings, I would like to point out this is a personal project and that none of the paintings are copied, they are all produced by me based on images i have seen
sorry if it isn't to your taste im a bit of a metal head :tongue.gif:
Heh, thanks for sharing! Not much of a metalhead myself though. :tongue.gif:

Thanks for the suggestions, agreed on all points actually. :smile.gif: I'll work on these for the next update.

Well I don't think I'll use that, I don't think it fits the pack personally. But feel free to make your own terrain.png using that texture for the wools & release it here for others to use. :smile.gif:

Great! I can't wait to see the finished product!
I think it will make things far easier for both you and everyone else.
But other than that, great Texture Pack!
I HAVE LASER POWERS!
Heh yeah, don't know why I haven't updated the OP, sorry. I'll get a proper OP going tomorrow, and I'll start using that for updates.
And thank you :smile.gif:
That would be great! I'm curious to see what you come up with.
