Hello fellow Minecrafters! I present to you my first ever texture pack:
Please note that this is a work in progress. I have used some of corner_g's textures from his Homelandstexture pack as placeholders (with permission of course), and will replace them as 4 Bit is developed. [represent]
Checklist:
Blocks - 80% Items - 50% GUI- 10% Mobs - 5% Paintings - Not started Armor - Not started Now that resource packs were released, I will also be adding 8 bit sounds!
Be sure to watch this post for updates!
Changelog:
6/18/13 - Beta 1.1 released; bug fixes, some textures that were previously 16x16 now updated to 4x4, minor shading changes for gravel, etc.

Just saw your signature in another post - This looks really good! I myself have tried to make a pack like this, but failed and got frustrated with the detail looking wrong, but good job!

Glad to see you got the thread up! It looks good, nice job!
I hope you personally don't mind the items, they are as recognizable as I can imagine them at 4x4 resolution. I don't know if it's just me, but I find them quite recognizable

You may not have said it directly, but having your title of the pack as "4-bit" implies that the pack is 4-bit. If I said I had a cookie for you, and it turned out that cookie was a cardboard cut-out with rabbit poop clusters on it, that would be a flat out lie, no matter how you spin it. If this were a product on the market, you would be liable for false advertising.
The simple fact of the matter is, your use of "4-bit" was clearly intended for the resolution of the pack, which is not what 4-bit is, nor does your color palette conform to 4-bit color.

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.

Yeah I agree. I think i need to change a few of them though, especially the shovels. Thanks for stopping by!

Ok, lets not get into a flame war over such a trivial issue. If you don't agree with the title, then by all means make your own 4x texture pack.

No flame war to be had. You are just misleading with your title via improper use of a term, that is a fact. There is nothing to agree or disagree with.
I have my own pack, a 32x. Granted, calling it 32-bit would actually be accurate since all modern computers use 32bit color... but that is a different matter.
I'm Jelly of not thinking of this. GREAT WORK! This is really interesting and makes the game look fun. The items look too blurry though so you could work on that...

Thanks! It's not done yet though, only in Beta stage right now.

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Something different eh?
I never said it was 4 bit, that's just the title

Thanks! I appreciate your compliment
(btw I clicked your sig to get here ^.^)
Yeah, thats the only downside about this resolution. The items are hard to distinguish.
Thanks! More mobs will be added in the next release in a couple weeks or so.

Hey everyone, I'm back!
I believe Mojang fixed that in a patch. It looks fine in 4x.
Thanks! It's not done yet though, only in Beta stage right now.
Anyway they do look really good although the zombies need a touch more noise.
