I'm sorry but how can a texture look good when it's so small?
It's hard to make any texture look good when it's small, but it is mainly for a FPS increase. And also, the couple other 2x2 texture packs were out of date, so i started this one.
v1.0 is out! With completed items! Took awhile because I got out of the texture making thing, and I was working on my new one. Thanks for the support everyone! And the topic has over 2000 views and over 200 downloads! That means about every 2 out of 10 people that click the thread download the pack. Thanks everyone!
Those 4 pixels are assembled well! I like the shape they make!
Jokes aside, I suppose critique would be on colour choice with this resolution, and the colours could be a bit better, but they could be a hall of a lot worse. They could be a bit warmer, right now you have default colours, the blocks consist of two of the most common colours from each corresponding default texture, and that doesn't look very good. Choose colours directly from your colour palette and avoid using the dropper tool and not to consider the default when choosing a colour, that way the result will be different from the original in colour.
Finally! A 2x2 texture pack! I've seen other ones but they were old. This one actually is HD compared to my one which is just 1x1. In mine, you can hardly ever tell what anything is, and glass is completely opaque. I think 2x2 is the minimum resolution that you could use to play Minecraft practically, since it has three more pixels than 1x1, which could all be used to distinguish blocks from one another.
Don't leave this pack to die. I'm figuratively OCD about having faithful texture packs in every resolution, it's bad enough that I can't find any 8x8 packs that aren't just the default resized.
Then it wouldn't be 2x2! ^-^ The whole point of this pack is to be PURE 2x2, not 16x16. Sorry. Maybe when I'm done with the pack and i'm bored during the summer, I can make a alternate.
You could use some of the MCPatcher or Optifine's features and assign a better looking texture just to the torch.

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.

Hmm... You caught me. I was hoping to keep the look and feel of default in a 2x2 form. I'll work on that when I have the chance to.

Hmm... I'll look into it. But do you know where you could find instructions for that? I'm not to familiar with Java.
(also i love your texture pack :))
and, so much attention since like, midnight last night. Thanks for a bunch of support! (and help from a couple of people above )

Exactly.
And FINALLY more people comment!
Love it!
By the way, is there a thread for your W.I.P. 32x32? I would like to see how your skills apply to a 32x.
Thanks! And I haven't made the the thread for my 32x32 pack yet, I plan to start that thread once I finish the terrain.png.
Wtf is this and how is it so epic!?
Seriously, I'm downloading this so hard...
...actually, created is a bit much.... Thought of. That's more accurate.
xD Thanks.
That would be ugly. I have seen a couple of the 1x1 packs, and they don't look great...
Jeez! I was just replying to the people above and i see a new comment... And thanks for liking it!
Hope your craptop improves!
Ah, thank you or no thank you? I guess you mean the beginning.
Who needed a new computer anyways
Thanks.
Too late, new computer
