I have a couple items that use custom model data. All of the items with their corresponding model data work but none of the original textures are working. I tried moving the resource pack under the original Minecraft resource pack but it didn't work. Can anyone help? This is on 1.16.5, Java.

"overrides": [
{"predicate": {"custom_model_data":2}, "model": "item/stuff/honey_jar"}
]
}
The attached photo shows the custom model data items with the original Minecraft items.
All custom textures are stored in assets/minecraft/textures and everything and all other textures are taken from the original minecraft resource pack. The original potion texture and the original sugar texture are null. Is this because I don't have the sugar and potion texture texture in the assets/minecraft/textures folder. Do I need to add them locally in order to not show them as null?
All of your textures are looked for in assets/minecraft/textures, but the vanilla block textures are in assets/minecraft/textures/block, you would need to add block/ in front of all of your model's texture paths.
The problem isn't the textures on the custom models appearing as null but rather the original minecraft textures with no custom model data. Sorry, if I didn't make that clear. So the original sugar texture that is in survival minecraft appears as null as well as the potion textures. How do I set the original texture for sugar and potion back to normal. I don't have any problems with the custom model data. All of the #missing is just a error that i'm too lazy to fix.

Here are the .json files:
sugar.json:
potion.json:
You provided the files for the root items, but you didn't provide the models listed in the overrides and where your textures are stored in.

What do I have to do to provide the original textures?
No, I meant you didn't show it in your topic.

Ok...
All of the models are in a subfolder called "stuff":
honey_jar.json:
bee bomb:
evan_cube.json:

I also saw some down faces have #missing.

Oh, you got models/ in front of the file paths, should remove that then.
