I've made plenty of custom textures for Minecraft in the past, but I recently started making a full pack and have noticed a problem when putting the textures into the game. Left pic is of the original drawing and Right pic is what has been happening to them after I load them into the game. I'm not sure what's causing it but the texture's colours are being compressed so that colours that are slightly similar will all turn into the same colour and its a problem I've never encountered before and cant seem to figure out. any help is appreciated, thanks!
EDIT: solved it for whatever reason with this file, the program i use to pixel (paint.net) was auto detecting the bit depth and lowering it substantially for an unknown reason, so i just had to select 32 bit depth and the file saves just fine.
