I've made a pack that just changes all the music discs into vaporwave, and I've already renamed them using the en_us.json file. I've also made a pack that changes all the ores into some other ore, so I've renamed the ores there. Now if I try to use both packs at once, only the top pack will have the correct item names / descriptions. I tried to fix this by removing all of the unneeded text in the en_us.json file, but now it won't display the music disc names at all. Is there a fix to this?

Are you sure both files are valid .json format? Run them through https://jsonlint.com and make sure there are no errors.
So long as both versions of the file are properly formatted and have all of the unneeded lines removed, it should function the way you want it to.

I hope that helps you.
Just looked at it again and I forgot to remove the comma on the last piece of text. That was the entire problem. So yes, thank you, that worked =P
