Hello! So, I just started working on a personal edit of the Mizunos 16 Craft texture pack. Originally I just wanted to change the color of the leaves because it's getting to be the fall season and I wanted to display that in my game and I couldn't find any add-on packs for it so I chose to do it myself. That went fine. I got some help from a friend and it worked out great!
Then I chose to edit some of the flowers, again that went great. However, when I got to editing the grass, ferns and wheat blocks the color map seems to overpower the new png. Btw, I'm using textures from Mizunos' BOP textures. I wanted to change some of the ferns and grasses to leaf piles, more flowers and also some of the clovers that came from bop. However, they all have a greenish hue and the clovers and leaf piles are horizontally floating rather than laying vertical and flat against the ground,,, I assume that's just because that's how the plant model or whatever was designed.
I'm wondering if there's any way to fix the green hue and also get it to where the clover and the leaf piles lay flat against the ground rather than floating horizontally lol.
Also; side question: I wanted to use Jerm's Better Leaves pack but the bushy leaf blocks override my colored leaves so I was wondering if there's any way to void the coloring that pack adds so it just adds the bushy leaf affect and lets my colored leaves shine through?
Try locating the models of the grass and fern, copy them into your pack, and modify the parent with "block/tinted_cross" to "block/cross".
However, if you try to also change their item forms, you have to make custom models to remove the tint.
This method is based on vanilla resources, if you want to use the pack's models that don't modify the vanilla ones, maybe you will need to be a bit more specific. (I don't want to download these resources)

The models are the problem.
