Ok so yeah the title explains it all so if any1 knows of a fix or can help me in any way it would be much appreciated
Well clearly you made a mistake. I suggest fixing your mistake. Usually fixing your mistakes also fixes the error.
I hope that helps you!

OK, now if everyone is done being vague how about providing some actual, useful information.
Post your texture and accompanying .png.mcmeta file if it's an animation. Your session log (.minecraft/logs/latest.log) would also be helpful.
(Please post the .png.mcmeta and .log files on Pastebin or the like and link them here)
Beyond that, provide more information. What version of Minecraft are you using? Do you have any mods installed? Do you have any other resource packs active? (If so, disable them before testing your own work) Etc. Etc.
The more information you provide the easier it will be to find a solution for your problem. Just telling us that it isn't working isn't useful. You wouldn't be posting a thread if everything were working right. We need to know what exactly you've done so we can deduce what you've done wrong.
Hello thank you for being willing to help i have attached the texture and the links in this reply, and if u figure it out or not ty for helping.
Btw, i am making this texture pack on version 1.15.2 and i am using no mods or other texture packs
It's pretty easy to see the problem. Well... problems. Plural.
The first is that 742 x 742 isn't a power-of-two resolution. Minecraft likes nice mathematically streamlined numbers and sometimes chokes a bit when it doesn't get them. You should make your base texture either 512 x 512, or go up to 1024 x 1024. This isn't what's causing it to error out, just something that you should be aware of.
The thing that IS causing it to error out is that your animation strip isn't the correct height. Minecraft requires that animation strips be perfect squares stacked on top of each other. So going by the width that means that each frame of the animation will be 742px in width by 742px in height. That's 742 x 742 if you prefer the simpler notation. For five frames, that means the image height of the animation strip should be 3710 pixels. (742px in height multiplied by 5 frames in total.) It's pretty simple math with a calculator.
I hope that explains things, and I hope it helps you.
