Hi, I am making a resource pack! Its about bringing vapourwave into minecraft with an actual good texture and not that stuff you find right now if you search vapourwave, if you look at this image "https://www.google.com/search?q=vaporwave&sxsrf=ALeKk01tTybFg0GbnYlWzl8x2HteNIMEcQ:1590601579884&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj6qZfRzNTpAhUUV8AKHbOzBOIQ_AUoAXoECBIQAw&biw=1366&bih=633#imgrc=fMesb1cu57NhNM" and look at the floor you can see this kind of blocks, I am trying to implement them as grass so I need to disable colormaps so the grass block is gonna have a true texture trought out biomes, I made the colormap in the texture pack white but this made the grass block's sides white in places where the color map should have worked, and that really sucks, I know a code for minecraft 1.8 but the way it was explained leaves a lot to the imagination and anyway I am working on 1.15.2.
Extra:
If you pay close attention to the image you will see this kind of stripes on what I am trying to turn into a grass block, so I need the grass block to always be placed with the stripes going one way, but in minecraft it kind of rotates to give diversity and thats not ideal, so I would also like to disable that.
I eventually found out why even do I removed the code in the model that creates the color the side's grass showed up anyway (I cannot remember what part of the code but if you are interested you just need to turn the grass's color map to white and it does nearly the same thing), it is basically an overlay so its a different file in the same folder texture>blocks>grass_block_side_overlay .
I am a bit more confused on the fact that the block's texture rotates, in his model texture there is not a "variant" section so I cannot seem to find a solution to that yet

For the rotation, you'll need to look at the blockstate file and not the models. It'll list all of the different "variants" which in this case are all the same model but with rotations added. You'll need to remove all of the entries except for the one that doesn't rotate. So it'll end up looking like this:

I hope that helps you.
To disable the colormap without changing the colormap, you need to replace the existing grass block with a new grass block.
You can use cube.json as the parent and remove the elements tag, or remove the tintindex in the faces of the elements.
