Hello everyone this is my first post and I don't speak english ...
How to remove these dark faces from the stacked blocks?
i have cool 3d models but they look ugly when they are stacked
in the third image it shows a stacked stripped log and the bottom is with dark faces, mojang creates complex blocks (sbell, brewing stand, grindstone ...) without presenting these problems
I want to fix the vanilla and that will solve everything else
Go into the model and change every cullfacing to the same direction of the face the element is on, I believe that should fix lighting issues, but should this not help, add "shading": false into the element.
I also see you took a pixel away from the log, if you experience problems with a little gap, you can't fix this, unless you remove the cullfacing of other block, which will then lagg minecraft, as it will try to render faces, that don't show up at all, for example all the dirt and stone below that grass.
