I am combining sphax textures for a modpack but keeping it as a low resolution for a low end pc friend. The problem is that some textures come in x32 while others start at a minimum of x64. If I added the x64 textures would all the x32 textures be scaled up performance wise? Thanks.
They don't get scaled up, you can even use a 1x1 texture and have it work.
x32 and x64 are numbers to represent in what resolution the pack is made in.
Low end pc have to use x32 or x64, decent pc can use x32 with models, x64 with models or x128 without models.
If your pack is a mix, then don't use either of them to label your pack, and if you make a mashup of other's work, then ask them for permission first, before you upload it, just don't create plagiarism.
