I can make an original texture but I'm not really sure how to make textures flow. Just so you know what I mean, let's take cobblestone for example. If you put 2 or more cobblestone with the default texture side by side or on top/below each other the textures seem natural, that's because one part of a rock on the texture will be on top of the texture, and another part of the rock will be on the bottom of the texture, allowing it to flow. I want to be able to create a texture that flows but I don't want hand draw everything, in fact I'd like to avoid hand-drawing as much as possible.
I'm genuinely curious about this now. How do you create textures if you don't do anything by hand? I mean... you could take photos or render things in Blender or the like I suppose. Still, you'd almost certainly still have to be doing some things by hand in order to make something that looks half way decent so I'm still a bit confused.
The All-Inclusive Guide to Texturing has a good tutorial on tiling that you might want to check out. Theoretically you can apply the techniques to any method of texture creation.

I hope that helps you.
Yeah it really is something curious. It might be impossible to down without any hand drawing. Thanks for the link too.
