While working on my bird from a previous thread, I decided to reduce the number of command blocks by animating the flying model. I made an animated custom texture and tried to import it into Mr. Crayfish's model creator, but it said that the dimensions must be divisible by 16. The width was 16 and the height was 48, but it would not work anyway. Is there a solution for this issue? The textures were new files I added to the /textures/blocks folder as a test.
I'd take a guess that Mr. Crayfish's model editor doesn't support animations. It's probably a misleading dialog box and it probably also checks that textures are also 1:1.... which would be a problem if not for an animation.
You might try Opl's model creator. Also free, and also doesn't really support animations, but I don't think it'll yell at you like that and prevent you from using it (or at least I was able to import one my models that had animations and it imported but displayed a squished texture instead of animation).
This is why I do things by hand :/

I tried to import other textures, but it still won't import them! WHAT DO I DO?
If you tried using a 16x16 texture and it doesn't work, I dunno.
But like I said, you could always export the model as a .JSON, download Opl's model creator, import it to that, and try on from there. Maybe it'll work out better.

I was able to import textures in the end, but now it will not work in the game! It only gave me a checkered box. It is within the 3x3x3 block limit, but it still does it anyway! What should I do? I will try Opl's program next if I have to.
I opened up the model in notepad, and it gave me this:

Look at the launcher, specifically the Game output, what does the error say when you reload (f3+t) the pack?
It's possible if you switched out the animation for a normal texture but left in the .mcmeta file it's freaking out because the animation is not there. It would also freak out if you have an animation but forgot the .mcmeta file.

should probably replace the texture of an existing block and work from there. Thank you!

I doubt /block/block/block is correct. I will try it with OPL's program in a bit.
The Launcher Gave me this:
I already fixed the beacon/beacon/beacon problem
There are no animated textures or mcmeta files yet
Edit: I just tried OPL's program, and all of the rotated objects were undone, so that would not be a good option.
I figured it out. The checkered texture was caused by one of the wings being too long by 1 pixel. *face palms repeatedly. Thank you for your help!
Don't trust me on this but, I think Mr Crayfishes animator will only take the same dimensions. (like 16x16 not 16x48)
