Hey! So, I have a resource pack that I pieced together from a few different packs myself. It works great in 1.7, but when I load it up in 1.8, the textures of items that I am holding get glitchy, with missing pixels on the sides. My friend tried to fix it for me, but it is still glitchy. I am using a mac. Can anyone help? If anyone knows how to help, I can PM them with the MediaFire link to the pack, but I can't publicly release it because copyright 'n stuff. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Thanks in advance.
Why do people with this problem always seem to insist on using the LEAST descriptive names for the thread making it impossible for others to find the answer to this. Seriously, this has been asked about once a week since 1.8 came out and the answers are impossible to find because of that. Maybe I should just do a tutorial about it...
Look at This Thread. If that explanation doesn't help you, post exactly what you don't understand about it and I can probably help you out. Really what this comes down to is knowledge of your image editing program, not your operating system, so if you have problems please post what image editor you're using.
Also, good on you for having the good sense not to post textures you don't own on the forum. You're smart and I like you!
I am using a Mac, like I said, and am running a software called Pixen to edit images. Any idea how to make the textures non transparent with that program? If not, do you know of another program that can? I want to keep to pixels themselves, but make them not transparent. Thanks for your help so far
