They aren't named correctly. All of the file names are capitalized. They should be "panorama_0.png", not "Panorama_0.png". The lower-case is correct.
I hope that helps you.
God thx again, i didn't realize that.
Kinda wierd that it work when it's just a folder.
Another one, after a while i notice my fire on my torch didn't pop, is there a way to remove the dark tint of the torch entity ?
Here a pure white background on it and we can see clearly the brightness problem.
- What is the best way to do a nomenclature of version.
For now i put the version of minecraft and under the name of the pack i put "Version A". I don't think i will update the pack often and following the version of minecraft made sens, but i'm not sure.
- About the resolution choice, i started with 32pixel, however, sometime i wonder if i shouldn't do 256, is there a quick way to transfert 256 to 32, because for now i'm not having good result when i resize something (Nearest/Bicubic/Bilnear) and making both texture by hand would take too much time. I think i will focus on 32 in case i do 3D Model. But if you have trick i'm curious to know.

When in doubt, mirror the Minecraft version it's for. It's easy for people to look at your pack and go "Oh, it's for Minecraft 1.8!" or whichever version it's for. Plus if you update your pack more than 26 times things get awkward.

There's really no way around that. It helps to increase the contrast a bit before resizing, though this throws your color scheme off slightly. I recommend keeping the proportions of the larger image very similar to how you want it at the lower resolution. For example, if you want a torch to be 4 pixels wide at 32x, make sure it's 32 pixels wide at 256x.
Pretty much what i had in mind, thx
Here another one :
flower_paeonia.png Where the heck that texture is in minecraft ?
There Peony but it's a double plant.
I'm doing a pack with oriental touch and i wonder with minecraft 1.8 how can i make a Cherry tree (well, leafs...).
I keep the original color from vanilla, so i don't wnat to texture leaf of oak into cherry, so how can i add some random full cherry/pink-white leaf on a tree, i heard 1.8 had variant, but is it going to work (i don't even know yet how variant work has i speak).
Pretty much what i had in mind, thx

This isn't possible since Minecraft has no built-in concept of where one tree begins and another ends. Grow a tree on the very edge of a biome to see a striking demonstration of this total lack of consistency.
Thx, speaking of variant, i can't figure out how to add Variant for the Grass_Top, anyone know how to add variant for grass ?
Didn't find a tutorial for this, well i did but doesn't work for grass it seem.
I couldn't find this forever, but i finally did a week ago. But the icons.png in gui folder is quite.....odd. I'll probably figure it out though.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
If I came across as hurried, pretentious, ungrateful, angered, impatient, stupid, needy, or mean, or all of the above, I didn't intend to, I just don't know how to make it not seem that way.

EDIT : Nevermind it's a bug from snapshot 14w33c
