i want to start a pumpkin cult wear we all wear pumpkins but they are annoying to wear
Isn't the entire point of a cult to do something stupid and ultimately self-destructive?
But really, just make one yourself. You'd literally only need three files and four folders in the pack. Even for someone who has never worked with resource packs before, this is likely just an afternoon's worth of work. A few hours tops, so long as you have some basic computer knowledge. It shouldn't be hard to scare up the information on how to create something basic like this, and if you run into problems you can always as questions in the Resource Pack Help forum.
You can edit your favorite texture pack fairly easy. Just download Paint.net, which is free, have WinRAR, which I would recommend to have anyways, and open your texture pack's folder. Go to Minecraft>textures>misc and there should be something titled "pumpkinblur". Once you find that, open it with paint.net. Once you're in, do crtl + a then delete. This should clear the entire texture so there is nothing in the way, just like without a pumpkin. You can edit it to something you like with paint.net. Honestly, having WinRAR is a must, and having paint.net will allow you to make edits to texture packs in the future. If you want, you can make a whole pack personalize for yourself.

Hah. Pumpkins are annoying, I know.
Here's a quick fix. Go to https://vanillatweaks.net/picker/resource-packs/ and scroll down until you see the "Unobtrusive" category. Drop that down, and you will see "No Pumpkin Overlay". Click on that, and hit download. Drop that resource pack file into your resource pack folder, and continue on with your pumpkin cult.
