I'm having a little trouble altering my previous custom bed textures to fit the new ones in 1.12. I can't even find a template for the new ones. I can see some people have it figured out as there are resource packs out for 1.12 that have new bed textures that look nice. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks very much.
By the way, I get that the bed is an entity now and you have to edit the file for each bed color in the entity folder. I just don't quite see how the texture in that file is fitting on the model. Thanks.
Thank you Mihro, although I already had the files from another pack, and my problem was getting my old bed texture pieced together onto the new one. I have it all figured out now except for the legs, and some of the problem seems to be that the new bed is apparently different proportions than the old, and the legs on my old texture are not going to match up on the new - I will have to go back and re-work the texture some.
I was also wondering if there is any way to keep the files for each color from applying that color to the whole bed? My texture has some wooden parts, and the game now turns not just the fabric parts but the wood green on the green bed, magenta on the magenta bed, and so on. The texture doesn't look near as good when the wood is tinted in weird and unrealistic colors. Is there no way around this in 1.12?
