I was wondering if anyone would be able to make a resource pack in which every single block is completely transparent (completely see through) save the very borders. And I mean, every, single, block. (Except chests) I tried to do it myself but half of all the blocks turned completely white for some strange reason. I looked into it more in depth and i got even more confused- this clearly isnt my thing. Thanks in advance for any volunteer-

as minecraft is transparency of colours is not possible save for afew blocks like glass. you have to be completely opaque when it comes to pixels. hope that clears up your confusion *the white is because of lack of support for transparency

because that is transparent fully think of it like this you can only have 1 full state either fully opaque or fully transparent. you can not have pixels someplace in between.

Okay thank you. Is there no way to edit the file properties to make them transparent? It's for a custom map I'm making.
nope, unless you use different coloured glass and stuff like rails *if you replace the block model but thats all very janky and limiting.
The how do people who make X-ray texture packs do it? Because I would just use an x-ray pack but they leave ores and glowstone in
