First let me start by saying that I really enjoy surfing this site, it's been an inspiration to me in the past.
Now, however, I'm having a small issue:
I used the S&K photo realism before today, but it's still a WIP so as you can imagine, many blocks such as doors or planks or stones don't have textures yet. So, I read on its website that I could combine it with another pack. I chose the LB Photo Realism Resource Pack. I really like both of these, in particular the Stone Brick and the normal Brick. I would really like it if the Stone Bricks (as well as the Stone Brick Stairs and Slabs) as well as the normal Bricks from the S&K resource pack were shown by default, and for all the rest, the LB resource pack can take over.
So, how can I force minecraft / FTB to use a texture of my choosing for a certain block?

This can be easily done with Vanilla's 'stack packing' capability that's been in since 1.7:
It's as easy as:
1. Select all the resource packs you want (move them all of the ones you want over with the right arrow)
2. Hover over the pack icons, use the up/down arrows to move packs
3. Packs you want as a base pack, AKA to fill in missing textures like how you want LBphotorealism, go at the bottom (above the always-there default that is)
4. Packs you want using their textures go at the top.
This also assumes that S&K photo realism does not include textures you don't like or vanilla textures. For it to properly work, those textures need to be fully absent (you can remove them if needed).

"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly.
It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."
