Hey guys, any way to add horizontal ctm to the top of a block. I tried adding "faces=all" to it, but to no avail.
Could also use some help on the "connect=" line.
I had the same problem, just do the original CTM but with only horizontal
I might darken the cobblestone outlines and smooth out the grass some.
Gamex, I like the second one, but it seems like that outline still makes everything look square despite the AA at the corners to round it off. I think you should try making it looks a bit rounder.
Eh.... Tried to have a 'Granite' look to it where it was rich with various layered and compacted minerals... Any suggestions?
edit: (I was also referencing from memory with it from a bit of granite I had when I was a kid.... looked almost like this but with a bit of yellow and blue inlayed...)
Yeah... I know but I always love the rarer colorations considering 'Granite' is actually nothing more than compressed gravel of various minerals (mostly crystaline) it would depend on where the granite is mined from. Just the Google search on granite can result in a plethora of colors and paterns that just is amazing... No wonder people love them for use on countertops.
(another great image of various granite types too)
Heres a great example of the stone that I used to have... apparently it was around the US...
Did some work on touching up the foliage colors today, along with some ctm. Looking for opinions.
I think I'll do something with the sky later on.
I like the textures, but the pics don't showcase them well at all. Something is off with the lighting. Make sure you have fancy graphics turned on before taking screenshots.

It's not that bad just look at this chart and only pay attention to the horizontal arrows, almost as easy as just the normal horizontal thing!
Or, if he wanted to do it the easy way, he could just make a horizontal ctm for it and use the following properties file:
source=/ctm/myctm.png
method=horizontal
tiles=0-3
faces=top

No offence, but it seems obvious that if that was possible I would have used it instead of original CTM?
Well, if you're like me you sometimes do things the stupid way because you don't realize that there is an easier way.
I might darken the cobblestone outlines and smooth out the grass some.
There's yet more to come!
Everything but the one on the lower right is fine
Lower Right texture is a real eyesore
It's cobblestone. Can you tell me what makes it such an eyesore?

The Shapes are perfectly fine, it's the colours. They don't work with the
Shading you have
I don't know exactly what you mean, it looks fine to me. Is it the outlines being kind of gray? I plan on making them darker.

Epic, One possible fix for your cobble is to use a earthtoned grout... i.e. a low value brown tone. This might help the stones to be more interesting.
Also a random pic of my bedrock...
