Ok, I'm trying out some new patterns with texture styles. I'm trying to make my textures darker and more themed, which I find to be necessary after comparing them to Johnsmith and Ovo's Rustic, both of which I am a large fan of. I decided that, since I'm working on a large-scale mine in Minecraft, I would start with some generic stone with some semi-faithful styled ores, which are highly subject to change.
What are people's thoughts on them?

Very nice! Though perhaps soften the edge where the ore and stone meet on all of them.
Also, since it has been quite a while since I have advertised a skin here....

The official Bluebird continuation is underway! Please come and help keep the pack alive!
Make your fancy sword sprite, and stick it in your /cit folder (which is new). Unlike CTM, you don't put it in a subfolder in the /cit folder. Name it excalibur.png (or whatever). Also make an excalibur.properties (also doesn't matter, as long as you name it the same as your png). In the properties file:
Then, just rename the sword with an anvil and BOOM MAGIC!
To do damage values:
damage=x
I haven't played around with this too much, so I can't give you any good numbers to use for 'x' yet, but it has to be between 0 and 65535.
I can't seem to get it to work. I made a cit folder, put Excalibur, png, and made Excalibur, txt and put your code in, but it still doesn't do anything. Do I have to download some special version of mcpatcher?
Well, you must be using the latest BETA of MCPatcher, found on the second last page of the topic, perhaps 3rd. I believe you may have to use 13w17b but I am not sure...

Thank you! I just realized that and I'm trying it now.
It still doesn't appear to work... Tried with new launcher on the snapshot and 1.5.1
Blaze rods... The idea is that blazes will be sort of patchwork semi-robotic zombies that are basically random organs over bits of metal acting as bones. The holes allow for tendons/veins to attach.
Bone texture. Im thinking the skeletons will be part robotic and part bone, and happen to resemble the spine from steam powered giraffe.
Slimeball... a mason jar full of goo and nails.
Snowball. Since my snow is ash, the snowball is an urn. It's an excellent thing to keep ash in, and breaks when thrown.

I like the design, now make it contrasted and shiny
TBH, thought they were mycelium... :S
I like the top one more, probably because the bottom one looks a lot more like a log rather than crafted wood.

I had a lot of trouble getting my quiver to work and it turns out I accidentally forgot to add in the source=*something* line.
The stuff you copied didn't have the source line so make sure to add that in. The source is just the filename btw.
Add this line in:
Add the line in where? The top? Does it matter? And shouldn't it have .png at the end?
EDIT: Page get! You must all say fancy words.
And sorry Deonyi, I stole the page from you.

I think it still needs more contrast.
Also, I can't see your picture Goodlyay. Try rehosting?
The top one, the other looks too raw.
Your ideas and textures are phenomenal as usual.
LOVE THE SLIMEBALL!
