I've been here, I just get bored of the MCForums. And every now and then, I forget about this "Texture Discussion" section, and used to seeing it in the "Texture Packs' area.
A few screens of my WIP Texture pack, Runeix. Let me know what you think so far!
A Mountain Some flowing White Soul Water Some Zombie Dungeon pics A small forest by a lake
The idea behind the pack is based on an ancient runic dialect. In the trees are carvings of lost symbols,Dungeons are hidden rooms filled of treasure, guarded by stone golems, many ores and blocks are covered in an ancient runic seal, and the water has turned white from the souls of ancient deaths of prior civilizations.
I just decided to take a stab at 32x Textures.
I first tried to do Wooden Planks, I'd say they're okay for a first time :tongue.gif:

EDIT: Yeah, they're a bit small, I forgot to re-size them before I posted them :/
Very very nice. I love that there's obviously woodgrain, but it seems smooth and polished like decorative wood tends to be, rather than rough like many plank textures I've seen.
How come everyone finds the water part the scariest...? People always freak out about it, it's funny. XD
The notion of something coming after me that can and will murder/eat me and I can't even see it is just... asdfghjkl
If Minecraft ever implemented a monster like that I think I'd die.
The water part was nothing! The dungeon was the scariest. (I ran out of lamp oil and tinderboxes and couldn't figure out what to do..)
The prison? I loved the kitchen, the monster there was perfect to just screw with people. If you are still having trouble with the prison, all you gots to do is get the glass jar out of storage and fill it with acid in the kitchen. If not that part you need to find a hammer and a chisel to put together and I forget the rest. I need to playthrough Amnesia again.

Looks nice, though I am not a fan of just straight long planks with no separation. Still, looks great.
