The gold block looks a bit flat and really out of place and the grass side has a really weird looking piece of dirt. Also that stone might not tile too well due to the huge rock in the middle. Overall though it's quite nice and has some good stylistic and chromatic consistency.

New andesite, diorite, granite, and smooth varients, as well as prismarine, all following DB32 as usual.
Wait, I saw Jeb talking vaguely about prismarine, but do we have info on it? I.E. knowledge of what it does, where it forms, and what it looks like in vanilla?
You'll need to practice if you plan on restoring your former glory, but those aren't bad. The side grass needs some serious work, and basically nothing tiles, but they look nice.
Depends what you want from it. Actual stony texture fits better with everything overall, but bricks are used commonly since they look nicely on the villages and builds. Kinda out of place in the desert though.
I was thinking, stone-ish for normal, brick for smooth, and fancy brick or heiroglyphs (maybe something else tho) for the chiseled
For those that missed it, Jeb is adding the sponge back. (And the default one isn't so ugly this time IMHO) https://twitter.com/jeb_/status/475667253728661505 EDIT: I'm not going to comment on getting a new page... oops.
That, looks interesting, might be useful for emptying water in an area

Quoted from Meringue - Too bad i own and have to use PS (at work) - it's clunky and i hate it..
Sandstone has long horizontal bits, i think this is a good example. I remember wayuki having something like this if you need some reference on pixeling it.

Yeah, the pixelling bit was what i was having trouble with.

Guten tag, may I make a post here?
I just discovered this thread after searching for a good RPG-themed texture pack. SiiKana and FishyMint, your works are my favorites so far.
I have a few textures that I've been working on for a little. I was wondering if I could get some feedback and criticism on 'em? Danke!
Cobblestone:
Anvil-- (from left to right) undamaged, slightly damaged, and very damaged:
Bed (decided to do a cool quilted pattern for the blanket):

That's the thing now, there is no terrain.png anymore! Mojang broke up all the tiles into their own files. If you go into the .minecraft/version/(current version should be 1.7.9) and unzip the .jar you'll see the whole metamorphosis. Quite a bit had changed but overall it's a bit easier to work with.
edit - I think there is a program that converts all the /blocks to a tilesheet and back but I can't recall it right now...

Well welcome back. I've always liked your textures and hope you stay around and make some more.

EDIT:
I should have checked the wiki:

Looks good! Although the Gold block lighting seems to be a little strange with that stray dark pixel along the highlight.

That texture...I'm not feeling it. It just doesn't look good to me. BUT they are adding use for sponge!!!

I guess I should change my sponge texture to look like a sponge, rather than the spazzy rainbow that it currently is.
