I watched your stream for a bit, it was fun seeing your technique. I think I might rework the hay bale texture in my pack with some ideas I got from yours. I like your pillars by the way, I did mine in a very similar shape. I was wondering where you got the idea to put the horizontal line at the top and bottom of the pillars, breaking up the vertical ridges. I put the same shape in mine because I thought it looked good, but Rillian told me that you don't find those in actual pillars. I am sure I have seen that style of pillar before, but I can't remember where, so I was hoping you could tell me.
Mac/Linux - Kinda the same except the kernel in Mac is proprietary but still kinda the same, you can still use WINE so buck up
I think you just need to install Windows' steam launcher through Wine to be able to install Windows versions of games in your Mac or my Ubuntu. I'll do a bit of research on this tomorrow.
Peace
(By kinda the same, both systems are made from Unix if I recall right... getting tired so I could be mistaken)
Nice to see I didn't miss too much from fishy's stream! Think it was just the end of the hay top and the leaf texture. Looks like it was very productive too, really starting to plow through textures now.
Anyways, I've been making progress with my horse armour. Any shapes you guys think need changing before shading?

Yeah I use wine a bit already with equal successes and failures. I'll check the windows steam launcher sometime soon.
Made some stone stairs ctm! I got it to work with a little trial and error, but since it uses metadata to determine which way it aligns can this be done to wooden stairs? since they already use metadata for the different types of wood. Is there a think such as submetadata or something which those stairs use for the alignment?
Idk about dark oak and acacia, but the first four types literally cycle through the metadata(I'm pretty sure). Here with first letter and direction: O-N P-N B-N J-N O-E P-E B-E J-E O-S P-S J-S, so on and so forth

So far I've only seen issue with 'no text' with Steam... Just gotta disable 'dwrite' in wineconfig to get steam working. Otherwise everything works nicely. RPGMaker XP loaded up from steam launcher quickly and nicely. I'll try VXace here next.
edit - VX Ace seem to have a 'out of memory' issue that is keeping it from loading or creating new projects...
Siiki - really like the cobblestone stairs, the effect is very nice, it would look great for many builds using your pack.
I don't really know how to answer your question! But those stairs are very nice looking, great texture! I really like it, the stairs flow very nicely with the rest of the textures!
I'm having some trouble getting textures made for the Nether. I didn't quite want to go with a cobblestone look with the netherrack, so I went with some stripe-y like deal. In addition, I decided to do a more regular like crystal shape for the glowstone.
I don't quite like them, though, and I'm not entirely sure what to do with them. I like the basic designs, which came through after lots of iteration and failed designs, but neither of them look quite right (someone I showed these to pointed out that the netherrack sorta looks like bacon). What I'm noticing is that they look quite plain, looking basic beyond the basic details needed to define the form, and I'm really not sure what would be needed to make them look right. I've sought images of things like stone sheets, crystal slabs, and other images from image searches, but my trouble with these references is that I'm not quite sure how to capture the details in a tiling 32x32 square.

I would make each crystal larger

(ssshhh... Don't talk about this leg, nobody noticed... ^^)
Woah, now that you mention it, he spins around 180 degrees, without his legs moving at all, as if the left and right leg switch places instantaneously, or he has no spine. He looks like he's made of clay, though, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

The gold looks like a jack o' lantern face.
Wouldn't call it a bad thing either
I don't see it. Yeah, like if a 3-year-old made a jack-o-lantern then maybe.
EDIT: Although I could totally use it for a jack-o-lantern face, since the current one I'm using is pretty bad.

It looks like a slightly obstructed jack o lantern face, or maybe a hastily carved one.
But are you not just an older 3-year-old?

Thank you! That means a lot coming from the 32x pixel art master himself!

The Emerald in your signature looks great!!!
You probably know this already, but just to make sure, your signature spells it with an "S" and the animation has an "C".
How do I convert this?
