I think you should try and incorporate the "vanishing lines" idea for the bricks. It would really fit the style, in my opinion. As for the cobble, I suggest making it a little "shinier", like it is in the reference. Again, that's just my opinion.

Define the vanishing lines thingyjigger? I searched it and the only thing I got was this thread. :tongue.gif:
Anyways, that screeny of the cobble was pretty bad; didn't realize a storm was going on.
I tried to make it look rounded/roundish by adding some lighter color in the middle for depth.

In the screenshot you posted for reference for the bricks, they didn't actually draw a complete shape, but just a small section, leaving the rest blank. It's a technique often used by artists to convey large areas of brick without having to draw each individual brick itself.
Try boosting the contrast on the cobble, it's difficult to see the brighter sections in the middle.
In essence, we're trying to make a texture pack workers union, and perhaps use our collective bargaining power to talk to curse/mojang when future issues arise.
I have a question, Feathers. Feel free to answer in your own time. :happy.gif:
Are we allowed to post textures here like we (mostly myself) have been doing? This is a good place to do that, but I'd like to know if it's actually allowed.
Should be, it is a big group of texture makers after all.
