They really should have some sort of quality control to stop stolen or remixed things before they even get posted to the public. That would discourage people a lot more and eventually it wouldn't even be a problem anymore.

I really think PMC mods do not try to get rid of stolen stuff.
They do thier best. One of the problems is that they are understaffed, and there are so many thieves on the site. Well, they try to sift through the thieves to find those who can work as mods, but it doesn't work out too well for them.

The more we educate those people, the better the community. Just remember that every Member (and Admin) agreed to carry the reputation of the TAU with them in all interactions. Don't start trouble during the education process!
I actually tried this once, and it failed horribly. That obviously doesn't speak for all of the thieves, but it's discouraging. I sent him a message and posted on the stolen pack, using a very polite tone I asked why he felt it was okay to post a stolen pack, and then offered to teach him personally some basics on making his own pack. He deleted both messages and ignored me completely.
I actually tried this once, and it failed horribly. That obviously doesn't speak for all of the thieves, but it's discouraging. I sent him a message and posted on the stolen pack, using a very polite tone I asked why he felt it was okay to post a stolen pack, and then offered to teach him personally some basics on making his own pack. He deleted both messages and ignored me completely.
I have been blocked by countless users for saying thier pack is stolen, I am usually rather nice about it.

But police officers don't use tire irons, and I like the iron idea. Think about it! We could have a new emblem, somehting along the lines of this:
